I think it is a foregone conclusion that the FBI is convinced she was wearing the same clothing sent in the pic 45 minutes before when she went out the door to go to school.

I dont think they have one thing to base it on that Sierra changed from that outfit into something else.

I think that is why the FBI has this very Shark sweatshirt on their site showing what she was wearing.

IMO

If you notice on the FBI site it does not say what she was last seen wearing. We should not assume anything yet.
Also the last person know to see her was her Mom she was in PJ. Very wll could not use a picture of her in PJ.
Also reports were it was a T-shirt not a swetshirt found in the bag.

It doesnt? I thought it did and gives a description of what she was last seen wearing and describes it in detail.

IMO

personally I don't think anyone last saw her other than the camera (dressed in that outfit that is) and the perp. I think that is where the trouble with the 'last seen wearing' is...

sure would be helpful to know if the clothes in the bag match the clothes in the picture

I noticed that some posts above are mentioning tweets or posts from Sierra ending with the minute do :29 .. Why is the media saying her last tweet or whatever ends in :11???

I am sorry but I have no clue how these work..

Also, it is possible that their was a pic of Sierra in the sweater on the computer .... But.. What if the pic that was taken was a picture of the picture that was on the computer?? Used her phone to take a pic of the pic that was on the computer in order to send it via text?? Can it be possible that the pic of Sierra was an older pic made "new" only because it was a pic of a pic...would then show up as a new picture on her phone... Oh.. I hope I make sense..lol

That is true and Marlene has already stated that the clothes found in her purse matches the Shark shirt she was wearing in the pic she sent just 35 minutes before she walked out the door. I have no reason to believe this are not the clothes she had on in the picture. The FBI is just putting the description out hoping upon hope that someone saw Sierra that day walking down her driveway.

But the FBI does say this is the clothing she was last seen wearing.

Sierra Mae LaMar was last seen wearing a black "San Jose Sharks" (hockey team) sweatshirt with the Sharks logo on the front and "STONEHOUSE" and the number "16" on the back. She currently attends Sobrato High School in Morgan Hill, California, and used to attend Washington High School in Fremont, California.

The FBI flyer isnt unusual in any way. They always give the description of the clothing last seen worn when anyone is missing if they have a description of the clothing.

It does say what she was last "seen" wearing which makes it all the more confusing because the only person who last saw her as far as I know was her mom and her mom said she was in pj's.

However, we do not know if the clothes found were the ones described on the FBI site. Did they release what clothes were found?

ETA: Nevermind. I saw your post. Marlene said those were the clothes found.

If that's the case and these were the last clothes worn.....well I think it's not looking good for Sierra :(

I dont think he is under the radar either liz. We have all seen how these cases progress. The first three individuals in the radar was Marlene, Rick and Steve. Once their alibis were established and verified then the detectives widens out their circle of potential suspects. Onto friends, neighbors, field workers, RSO, etc.

I actually dont think LE has anyone in the radar and doesnt have a suspect or even a POI in this case.

It seems to be falling from the media's attention now which is not good.

IMO

Yes. But, I can see what Whisperer was saying. Rick is very silent...

How like Kyron Horman's case is this ? Pic taken on the day of disappearing. Was due to visit her other parent that night ? No notification of the child being missing for many hours ? And the silence of the non bio adult in the home. And the absolute vanishing of this child...eerie..MOO

Just an FYI, unless things have changed, there is also a community volunteer search planned for this Saturday as well as tomorrow's.

Don't think that it's important at all, but where did the "Stonehouse" information come from?

I think from the Shark shirt found in the purse.

That is why the FBI has included the detailed description of the shirt because they have now seen the shirt for themselves.

IMO

I agree with you about the "last seen wearing" phrase being confusing. I think either the FBI is confident that Sierra was wearing the clothes described because they believe the clothing in the picture Sierra took is what she was wearing when she disappeared or it might be process of elimination from the clothing still home in her closet.

In the Sherry Arnold case, no one saw Sherry leave her house that morning. Her husband wasn't home when Sherry left, but her missing poster stated "Sherry was last seen wearing..." I found it confusing in that case as well. I wish they could say something like, "Sierra is believed to have been wearing..."

It is posted on the FBI site but I cannot find anything to tell what it means...does not seem to be a player by that name...at least not a pro player.

Thanks for that. That's certainly interesting. Last time I heard the S.O. talk they weren't sure what she was wearing. Anyone have any idea how long that's been up on the FBI page?

Also somewhat curious why she had "Stonehouse" written on the back (if that is in fact correct).

But the FBI flyer goes against what has been reported
http://www.insidebayarea.com/argus/...ice-bag-clothes-belonging-missing-morgan-hill
Inside the bag, found at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Laguna Avenue in Morgan Hill, was Sierra's neatly folded T-shirt and a pair of pants.

The bag was about a mile north on Santa Teresa from where police found her Samsung Galaxy cellphone Saturday.

This has been a probelm from day one. This case has been full of misinfromation.:banghead:

There's no way the FBI can be sure those were the last clothes she wore. That photo was taken early enough for her to change from that shirt.

No, it's definitely nobody on the team. the number on the jersey in question belongs to Devin Setoguchi.

Wonder if it means something else in the teen world?

What is Stonehouse?

But I do think it is a fact for the FBI wouldnt have included it in their detailed decription on their site.
