No, it's definitely nobody on the team. the number on the jersey in question belongs to Devin Setoguchi.

Wonder if it means something else in the teen world?

I have googled it, can't find anything...

But the FBI flyer goes against what has been reported
http://www.insidebayarea.com/argus/...ice-bag-clothes-belonging-missing-morgan-hill
Inside the bag, found at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Laguna Avenue in Morgan Hill, was Sierra's neatly folded T-shirt and a pair of pants.

The bag was about a mile north on Santa Teresa from where police found her Samsung Galaxy cellphone Saturday.

This has been a probelm from day one. This case has been full of misinfromation.:banghead:

I would take the fbi poster over the media any day of the week (just sayin')

There's no way the FBI can be sure those were the last clothes she wore. That photo was taken early enough for her to change from that shirt.

I really think that the FBI is not one to believe coincidences.

Imo, they have a time dated photo taken just 35 minutes before she left for school and they have found those clothes tossed away two miles from where Sierra was kidnapped.

I think they have no reason to believe she changed clothes.

They have been in Sierra home on numerous times and imo, they know far more than we do.

IMO

questions..... her classmates could tell LE if the way pictured herself in the photos she sent her mom was normal attire for her... there was speculation some threads ago that her sending the photo may have been a ruse to trick her mom and that she changed into some more edgy to wear in school.

Her mom could explain if Sierra sent her photos showing what she wore each morning. If she didn't would that tell us something?

Or is some of this an issue of symantic's? The S.O. generalizes it to a "tshirt", the FBI specifies it to a jersey? At this point I have no idea, just trying to think aloud....

If that is the case (that they were talking about the same "shirt"), then does that mean that what she was last seen wearing (via mms I assume) is also what was found in the bag?

maybe the jersey is retro... there is a jeff stonehouse listed on the sharks website from 2008?

#16 was Devin Steguchi number till he was traded. I think Stonehouse was either a brand

Could Stonehouse be a restaurant or another business and they were giving these shirts away for some reason?

IMO

It didn't just come from the media.

Nancy Grace March 23 transcript

JOSE CARDOZA, SPOKESMAN, SANTA CLARA SHERIFF`S OFFICE: But there was a bag, specifically a Juicy purse, a Juicy bag belonging to Sierra LaMar that was found Sunday about 1:00 PM. Members of the sheriff`s office search and rescue team found this Juicy bag belonging to Sierra.

Inside the bag was some of Sierra`s clothing, a pair of pants and a T- shirt neatly folded, neatly put inside this bag. This bag was located on Santa Teresa (ph) Boulevard in Laguna, which is within a couple of miles of Sierra`s mother`s house.

The reason the information wasn`t immediately made available to the public was because we had to confirm that the clothes did belong to Sierra, and we had to do some further investigative follow-up on that. Through confirmation from Sierra`s family and through some of the investigative efforts, we have now confirmed that those clothes and the bag did belong to Sierra.

She did not send the pic to her mom. She sent it to one of her friends.

The DailyMail site got that wrong and it has grown moss and rolled on since then.

They are the only site that has ever said it was sent to her mom.I think they may have even mistakenly reported that her mom took the pic and that is false too. Her mom has said it was sent to a friend and LE has said it too.

But of course Marlene would be able to recognize the Shark shirt if shown a pic, imo.

I saw a Jeff Stonehouse and something about the Bluewater Sharks...but not San Jose Sharks...?

I do agree and think it was thrownout after the fact. After Sierra had been stripped of her clothing but I dont think it was a plant but discarded when the perp(s) were leaving the area possibly with Sierra's body in the trunk.

I think they saw that it was out of sight when they tossed it. They sure wouldnt want it to be inside their vehicle in case they were stopped in a roadblock.

IMO

Here is my question...Wouldn't LE know by now if these clothes were "worn" by Sierra? Surely there would be some trace evidence left, right?

Why would the perp tell her to take her clothes off and then fold them in the bag to get rid of them? The only reason I can think for doing that was they needed to get them out of the car fast--perhaps it was not their car, and they were returning it to the owner?
........or why wouldn't he just them leave them with (forgive me) her body after the assault IF she was assaulted----I don't know about that bag,it is really hard to figure how this finding fits into this case. Watch us find out it was left there by Sierra , on purpose days before for some other reason, and has nothing to do with her disappearance:waitasec:

I am more afraid we will never know...and it is a huge mystery...

well darn (stonehouse)

another mystery

(sarx, did you see the picture of where the purse was found? It was posted a few times for you)

I dont know. We have tried to get into the heads of others who have done the same and imo it just isnt doable. You have to be able to think like these people and thank goodness I dont have a clue how they think or why they do the things they do.

LE does know they are Sierra's clothing. See Dee's post she just linked.

If Sierra walked out there and hid the clothes herself the dogs would have picked up her fresh scent. The only fresh scent of Sierra's was found at the end of her driveway.

Sorry but they weren't there and didn't see her wearing those clothes. Marlene didn't see her wearing those clothes. The FBI should be dealing with facts and i don't see how they can 100% say the clothes in the bag were the ones she last wore. JMO
