Kind of surprised there is no one twittering on this case.... I'm finding nothing over here - anyone find anything?? TIA if you do!

@Niner - I found this article by Rolling Stone magazine.

“Two decades after the murder of Susan Berman, her friend and former employer Robert Durst is going on trial for the crime. For years, Durst — a real estate heir and thesubject of the 2015 HBO docuseries The Jinx— had denied any involvement with Berman’s 2000 murder, but was arrested for the killing in March 2015, just ahead of when the final episode of the series aired.”

“What’s happening with the trial?
Durst’s jury trial begins on February 11th at the Airport Courthouse in Los Angeles County. He has pleaded not guilty. The trial could last as long as five months, The New York Timesreports, and will likely thrust Durst back into the media spotlight — including reportedly being the subject of upcoming episodes of NBC’s Dateline, ABC’s 20/20, and CNN Headline News.”

Should last 5 months??!! That's a long time....

Well - considering the article says this will be covered by MSM - there should be someone twittering this trial! Wouldn't you think? I haven't found anything, but then I'm over here in Europe and don't get all the stuff you all there get.

Can you find someone @Suglo who is tweeting?

@Niner There is no one tweeting about the actual trial but there are a few tweets asking court TV and other news agencies why there is no info on the trial. A five month trial means that they will most likely take a couple of weeks to even seat a jury. My bet is that we don’t start hearing much about the trial itself until they finish voir dire and impanel the jury. I will check back and let you know if I see anything new in the coming days.

@Niner There was no court yesterday. All the California courts were closed in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday. They should resume today :)

Thank you I shall correct my notes.... :)

The thing about him admitting he wrote the cadaver note is that he didn't admit it when they brought it to his attention in the Jinx.

He's now saying that just because he wrote the note and knew about the body doesn't mean he murdered her. :D

But if Durst’s confession to writing the cadaver note — coupled with his comments in the docuseries — sound like an admission of guilt, think again. The defense team filed a brief in August 2019 indicating that Berman’s killer wasn’t necessarily the author of the message to police. “What the note demonstrates is that the person who mailed it was aware that there was a body at the house, not that the individual murdered Susan Berman,” according to The New York Times, which obtained a copy of the brief.

So his attorneys are saying he’s clairvoyant? Watch the jury buy it just like the jury in Gavelston bought his self defense plea when killing and dismembering his neighbor

Can you imagine, finding your best friend murdered and writing a letter to police to let them know?

As you say he got away with the unbelievable before.

So - I wonder what they've been doing on 2/11 - if not jury selection?
