The search continues for a missing Riverside County father of five whose abandoned car was found more than 10 days ago.

*****
.....William Orellana, who has been missing for eleven days now after his car was found abandoned 35 miles from his Upland home. It was crashed into a light pole near Barton Street and Santa Inez way in Riverside.

*****
They've been checking hospitals and searching for him extensively, posting flyers all over the Inland Empire, including parts of Moreno Valley. His phone and work uniform were both found inside of the car, so he hasn't been active on social media and they can't track his location.

*****
"He's not gang-affiliated," Silvas (his girlfriend) said. "He's not a criminal. All his tattoos are religious tattoos."

******
More in article at link and in YouTube video. His mom says that she normally talks to him multiple times daily, but she hasn't heard from him, nor has his girlfriend or his friends.

Silvas has been dating Orellana for the past four years and shares a son with him. She says the 34-year-old has not been seen or heard from following a visit to his uncle's home in Perris on July 20.

*****
Silvas said she received a missed call from Orellana around 3:52 a.m. on July 21. It wasn't until she tried to contact him and got no answer that she began to worry.

Eventually, she contacted authorities - who saw that his vehicle had been towed following a collision in the city of Riverside.

"He doesn't know anybody in Riverside. He doesn't have any family in Riverside. The area that he was at was so isolated. We don't know how his car got there," she said.

*****
Police did find Orellana's cellphone and his security uniform but not his wallet. Silvas said she filed a missing persons report with the Upland Police Department since the couple is from the area.

More in article and video.

But was he driving the car????

Maybe the cell phone and/or car telemetry will reveal another location previously not known about in this investigation. Something that would lead to some answers.

If the collision with the pole was not enough to deploy the airbag I don't think it would be enough to cause a serious injury. If one had that minor of a collision why abandon the car, unless the driver intentionally hit the pole then ditched the car to make it appear an accident happened (not as likely, but that's what I thought when I first read it). Hopefully they're tracking his movement back to his Uncle's where he was last seen.
