Puryga is described as a white male, five foot nine inches, 170 pounds with a muscular build. He has grey eyes and short, blond hair.
Puryga’s vehicle, a white 2012 Mercedes Benz two-door sedan, was located unoccupied nearby.

Police are searching for a black 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was seen in the area of 7th Concession and 16th Sideroad that they say is in connection to the investigation.''

Investigators would like to speak to anyone that saw anything suspicious in the area of 7th Concession and 16th Sideroad on the morning of August 13, between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The 41-year-old is described as male, white, 5’9”, 170 pounds with a muscular build. He has grey eyes, short, blond hair.

Not much in that area except hiking, horses and beautiful $$$ houses. Security camera would have to be from place of business or a house. And houses are mostly estate lots so driveway is a bit in from main road. I wonder how much traffic at that time would be on those concession roads?

Hmmm, I’m not sure about boarded up, but there are a few for sale. Lots of big ponds/ little lakes. An old hiking trail, lots of trees and mini forested areas with sprawling homes, horse farms. There are a few armoured vehicle manufacturing companies in that general area, but I haven’t a clue exactly where, they might be small and exclusive, so not recognizable as a factory per se. Many driveways with gates, so cameras could be located there. Very strange place for him to be “on side of road waiting for someone”. Possibly forced off road and abducted

Re the licence plate ….I wonder what they mean by” plate registered to non existent business”? Never heard of this. Don’t you have to register the car properly if business is no longer? Is it something new? Was the business ever a business in the past? Is it a stolen plate, altered plate, fake plate? Or is owner guilty of a Provincial Act Violation of improper registration? Would this make this suspect car even more suspicious?
Could his car have broken down and while he was walking on road, been hit and knocked down into ditch? Did LE search area?

Another explanation of licence plate query is, plate is registered to the car, but business is no longer in operation. Companies can dissolve but along as plate is registered to that car and an address, all is ok. Unknown if that car was coming out of that driveway on Concession 7, or simply turning around. Possibly cameras were affixed to the query gatehouse or from that vehicle?

Very interesting read….so interesting I self edited my last entry. I wonder who owns property in the neighbourhood of Sasha’s car parking? 16th s/r or 7 conc. So back to the question why is Sasha’s car on road. Is that where the meeting was to take place? Or on the 16th concession. Interesting a defunct dishonest armoured vehicle company, owned property in that area and an employee of an armoured vehicle company is missing, years apart. Hopefully YRP are researching down that line of thought. There will be a few old timers still around who remember Bill Whyte and the case files.

Here's a further update regarding William Whyte's conviction in a US federal court.

He was sentenced to 70 months prison in the US plus a further 3 years of supervised release. The date of the article in the Office of Public Affairs was dated Feb 20, 2018. If he was incarcerated immediately that would put his release around Dec of 2023. I presume he would serve the remainder of his supervised release back in Canada which could put him back home in Ontario as we speak. On Linkedin Usman Bashir who sounds like he was a whistleblower shows he's the VP of Armet Armoured Vehicles in Virginia but I thought the company was defunct. Maybe it's an outdated Link. Can't find any info on the other whistleblower. Whyte would be in his late 70s now and the supervised release would extend into his early 80s so I guess the US gubmint thought he was quite a threat, understandably, considering what he did.

Good question. Pretty tight time frame. I would think a half to one hour each side of the meeting time would be more appropriate for anybody. They must have a time stamp on a photo/video. Maybe someone who was doing yard work etc, remembers when the white car wasn't and was there. Maybe a text or call from his phone and it's location.

I'm thinking this area of King Township is significant. A car licence registered to a defunct company, and a neighbour which had a criminal case tried and convicted against another defunct company. Now an employee of a similar company goes missing, well.... it all smells strange. I would go out on a limb here and suggest the company that the missing person may work for is located in Newmarket, but maybe there is another company elsewhere and the owner just lives in this area, or the meeting was being held in this area. Has anyone google earthed the area for terrain and possible pitfalls or misadventure of the missing man. It's well forested with little ponds and lakes, and some nasty turns in the road. Lots of horse farms, and a few very interesting properties. King Township is well known for its wealthy citizens, even the Queen would visit there.
I suspect we may not hear anything more from the police re this case.
