In hindsight, does anyone else think that the Amber Alert should have been/should be on NO alone to keep the focus on the missing child?

I think NO is still very much at the centre of people's attention to this. But since he could be with both or either of his grandparents they need to be mentioned. There are three missing people not just one.

That's interesting. The crown is buying two more days for police to get forensic results or find significant evidence.

It's in NW Calgary...I believe Spy Hill is also where the correctional facility is located...but I'm not positive.

I am seriously at a loss in the case.

LE has expended a MASSIVE amount of resources on this search, and I do truly understand why, but, wth? They say the only the reason they are searching is because of the green truck being seen on camera. REALLY?

Things are NOT adding up, and they better release some more info, or there are going to be repercussions for it. This has been an extremely high profile search.

More info required for the public please. I bet half of Canada thinks the whole thing is solved, since they had the guy in jail and were searching his home.

I don't think we (the public) deserve to know more about the case just because it's high profile. If Law Enforcement is holding back information then I imagine it must be so the case isn't compromised.

It's very easy to get there from Airdrie via back roads ... I live close to Spyhill and am in Airdrie often.

The Calgary Police Service has released information today regarding the presence of Airdrie Fire and EMS at the Garland property for the search related to the missing O'Brien/Liknes family. Police say the emergency services are on hand as a precautionary measure. Airdrie Fire is on scene to assist with any common chemicals on the farm property, EMS is on scene to prevent any heat exhaustion. Investigators ask that anyone, or any company who lives or owns property in that area northeast of Airdrie to check their properties for anything out of the ordinary. No further updates are anticipated from police for today.

This question is really vague, but does anyone recall a fellow talking about seeing a green truck like the one in question, and thinking it was driving on an unusual route (back road or something)

Kind of surprised they are way out there. There is one a lot closer in SE Calgary. I can't remember the name I'am trying to find out. Maybe they found some evidence for the Spy Hill one for them to be there.
