Reports say the daughter was in Mexico when the murders happened??? I am not saying she was behind this..just making an observation.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if it were someone from Israel. Just because the amount of business he had there, but I'm just reaching at this point. If we could pin point the several "people of interest" the police have on their radar, then I think we could possibly solve this pretty quickly.

This is a opinion of a retired detective. In fact, there are likely a hundred people in the world who know and can identify who this suspect, the walking man, is.
For example the walking man can likely be identified by his family, his friends, his employer(s), present and past co-workers, his medical caregivers, and some of his enemies.
I would suggest the phrase, 'almost impossible' be replaced in our minds with, 'difficult' or 'challenging'.

It appears to me that starting about 1/3 of the way through the video, before he gets to the fire hydrant, you can see what appears to be the tongue of his right boot flap upwards every time he takes a step with his right foot. I can't see the same thing happening with his left foot/boot. I am wondering if he has no lace in his right boot, and it is therefore loose, and his walking gait may be caused by an action that best keeps his right boot on his foot as he walks. And so I also wonder if its possible he used his boot lace as a ligature or as a restraint on the Shermans.
What do others think about this- do you see the "flappy tongue" in the video?

To me, he was speaking in terms of his own previous job, in that for him as an investigator, it may have proven difficult to pinpoint a specific person based on a not-so-great video..

I should have stated that I have a problem with 'experts' who make blanket statements to the media that can be misleading and/or confusing to the audience.

It appears to me that starting about 1/3 of the way through the video, you can see what appears to be the tongue of his right boot flap upwards every time he takes a step with his right foot. I can't see the same thing happening with his left foot/boot. I am wondering if he has no lace in his right boot, and it is therefore loose, and his walking gait may be caused by an action that best keeps his right boot on his foot as he walks. There was a "boot lace killer" in Quebec in the 1970s. He had been in the military, special ops.

At the time no one knew who the targets were. Were the killings targeted and limited to just the Shermans, or was Apotex the target? Or something else- maybe take out the whole family. Not knowing, Apotex and/or the family members engaged security protection for the Trustees, employees, key family members, etc. That seems totally logical and warranted to me.

If this can be verified this is a great explanation for the unusual gait.
And it might have been intentional, as part of an attempt to disguise his walk.

The supposition about the boot lace as a restraint on the Shermans' wrists is also plausible. However the NW had enough time, if wanted to to put the lace back in the boot.

Was this system in place before the murders? Was Apotex aware of a threat before the murders? We know that Barry had a somewhat cavalier approach to his own security.

That's it. We don't know if the company was aware of a general or specific threat security threat before the murders. We only know that the family was certain this was not a murder-suicide, for whatever reason only they know. We also know that Barry did not seem concerned about his personal safety, given his comment about someone being able to take out a hit for $1000. If a threat had come in, did he or would he authorize security expenditures on the scale that eventually came to pass? I don't think so, IMO.
