I maintain this is a “cover-up” orchestrated by Greenspin. He was paid to do a job. Nobody will ever collect the 35 million. The multiple murderers will never be arrested cause Barry killed her then hung himself.
THE MOMENT KERRY WINTER HEARD the news that his cousin Barry Sherman and Sherman’s wife, Honey, had been found dead, he had two thoughts, he says. The first, that Barry murdered Honey, then killed himself. Then, as his mind shifted to the bitter, ongoing fight he and his siblings had waged with Sherman, another thought struck him: “Oh my God, I think Jeffrey did it.”

Wasn't BS originally leaving his office earlier in order to answer an expected phone call from his lawyer DH?
However, he didn't really have to leave earlier since he could have spoken on the phone at Apotex with him.
Thus, it was something that also needed HS to be present for at their house with BS being there as well.
Were they meeting or expecting someone to be there that required both of their presences at their house?

This could be an extremely significant question. We have heard about Honey scheduling events, trips, even cooking for the holidays. But no one has mentioned anything about being home together that night.

Did Barry or Honey mention to anybody that day, 'we have to be home tonight because..............'
Even something innocuous like "Norm Smith is coming over tonight to talk to us about a scholarship fund he is putting together."

Related question I have, was Barry alone while working at Apotex before he left to go home. If he was working with someone, it is possible Barry told that person, why he was leaving, early.

Weren't there some mortgage discharged papers that had to be also signed by SL or by his son-in-law who looked after this for him.

The reason B was going home early remains a mystery. The builders say Honey said something that made them think he needed to be back early that night, but could not remember what it was.

It seems unlikely he was going home to take the missed phone call. The lawyer told police he’d tried to call Barry to follow up on an email about mortgages for SL, but he didn’t answer. It wasn’t a planned call; he needed to confirm a detail. The lawyer thought he had called around seven; KD later reported that the call actually came in at nine. (It is possible there were two calls but the lawyer only mentions one, so I believe he was mistaken about the time of the call.)

Here are the statement summaries related to the SL mortgage Barry was calling in.

To summarize further: Barry had loaned his longtime friend Stanley $400k in the 1970s to build a house. Stanley was supposed to pay him back $5k per month, but he could only make the first payment. Barry told him not to worry about it. When the house sold, Barry took all of the money. Barry later paid $447k for a house in Stanley’s wife’s name and let Stanley live there for free. Stanley had not paid a mortgage in years. In October or November 2017, Barry called Stanley and said he needed to arrange a mortgage for the house. Barry only wanted the amount of the original purchase price ($447k), not the current value of the house ($1M).

Stanley’s son-in-law Jonathan Tick was handling the paperwork. Jonathan emailed Barry on December 12 to make arrangements. On December 13, Barry emailed back and told him to deal with Doug Hendler. He copied Doug on that email.

Doug did not know anything about it and called Barry’s office at 7pm and did not get a call back, which was strange.

Doug does not mention a call to Barry’s cell phone at 9pm. My best guess is that he was mistaken about the details of the call, as Barry was back in his office at 7pm. But it is possible he made two calls and chose not to tell the police about the second. This seems less likely to me but many things about this case are unlikely.
