Tonight he Blackhawks and Winnipeg Jets will honor the Humboldt Broncos by wearing "BRONCOS" on the back of the jerseys in place of name plates.

The Blackhawks will also match a $25,000 donation from both the Jets and NHL to The Humboldt Broncos Hockey Club. #PrayersForHumboldt

Its nice to see the NHL teams honoring the Humboldt Broncos.

Ive been a long time hockey fan. My Dad used to take me to the NY Ranger games at the Garden (M.S.G.) when I was a child and before I even knew the rules of the game. Then as i got older me and him enjoyed watching lots of NHL on TV and even would travel to AHL games.

Hockey is one of the most exciting sports to watch.
The NHL started having special outdoor games outside called the "Winter Classic" and the "Stadium Series" and even if you dont like watching hockey then catching one of the special outdoor games is really fun to watch.

They started with one annual "Winter Classic" outdoor game around the holidays and then started to have more than one called the "Stadium Series" because it has become so fun and popular for both players and fans alike to see hockey outside. It brings back memories for many that used to play hockey as a child on frozen ponds and lakes.

Next year's 2019 matchup in the Stadium Series is sure to be a thriller because they have a classic rivalry game between the Flyers and Penguins. I may have to figure out how to get to this game next year.

"The National Hockey League (NHL®) announced today that the Philadelphia Flyers® will play host to the Pittsburgh Penguins® outdoors at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, as part of the 2019 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™."

"Tonight the players from the Chicago Steel and Youngstown Phantoms (USHL) gathered together at center ice for a moment of silence for the tragic accident in Saskatchewan involving the Humboldt Broncos."

Amazing touching photo. Notice the players from both teams are in the circle side by side with each other showing unity in their sorrow about the tragedy.

Good lord, the photos get worse and worse. This one is wider than the previous and just look at all those sets of tires. Where are the front tires for the bus?

Is this what the bus looked like in it’s normal condition?

There is a picture earlier in the thread that is clearer, but it looks like the front end of the bus is above where the two men are standing. In the other picture you can see that there are blankets, pieces of luggage, and some seats from the bus. There are also 15 yellow markers on the ground.

RIP to all those that were lost and prayers for healing, hope and comfort for everyone in pain. I wish there was something else to do help, but all I can do from here is donate to the Go Fund Me.

That picture absolutely breaks my heart. I have billeted 7 players and I can't imagine the pain of losing one, let alone three at once.

Bless you puppyraiser. I'm sure you can relate to this terrible event more than most.

(I believe that the teen in the middle was to have his 17th birthday next week. So sad that he didn't even make it to 17. )

We billeted as well when I was a teen, and I still get to follow via social media my "brother", as he teaches his sons hockey.

Fresh faced babies.
I’m having trouble being able to see the victims. I’m so sorry to everyone involved near and far.
The is almost at 3million. It’s the one thing I’m following. Idk why. It’s giving me comfort in the most silly of ways. I see my boy next week and will
Be sure to hug him extra tight.
