Not necessarily. There is no way that they definitively knew last night how long the body had been there. That would be determined upon autopsy and forensic examination. They test lividity (blood pooling in tissues) and analyze environmental factors like insects and grass found on the body.Jessica's mother says the police told her the remains had been there for almost 8 weeks. Guess that rules out the moved and dumped theory. So back to the coincidence. Perhaps TR is lying about finding the body?

The grass looks like it was recently cut. If so, there is little chance that a body went unnoticed. The smell alone would have been hard to tolerate that close up.

That tends to be my thought as well. Though in the Metro article posted below Jessica's mother says the police told her the body had been there around 8 weeks. Perhaps deceased for 8 weeks but dumped more recently? Does that make sense? Or perhaps they were indicating to her mom that Jessica had been deceased for 8 weeks (and not held somewhere) as opposed to the body location.
That would be very risky to move a decaying body. Even just the scent would linger long enough for the dogs to pick up on, let alone any fluids or flakes. Not necessarily. I think what she might have been referring to is how long she was dead for.
Very true. Even wrapped in a tarp... how do I say this... parts fall off. That would be very risky to move a decaying body. Even just the scent would linger long enough for the dogs to pick up on, let alone any fluids or flakes.

I wonder which job site they all went to.
Chelsey's is on the NE corner of 52nd st NE and Memorial Drive and there is a job site pub on the SE corner of that intersection.
Perpetrators are often found to have inserted themselves into the investigation. LE always look closely at the people that are 'helpful' and this certainly qualifies.
I notice TR made no comments that suggests he recognized her. Perhaps he did not want to be seen as a suspect for the very fact that he knew her. As I said, I don't believe in coincidences. Not in homicide cases.
She was also found with most of her clothing missing. Either sexual assault or an attempt to destroy evidence.
The man who found the body, named Sid, told 660News his team went in for a closer look after spotting it from their work site.
We went down to take a look at it and it actually was a dead body and it looks like its been sitting there for a little while, naked, three-quarters naked, Sid said

I wonder if when the guy said 'we went down to take a look'... he meant.. 'down the road', down the hill (is there a hilly area?
