i did wonder if her car could have been returned to the lot to make it lot as though she never went home...
but then police say they have video outside the door? maybe they see her get to her car? i have no lue...
Again I hate to judge how men behave when wives go missing, unless there is apparent motive, i.e. a girlfriend or something, which stands out. I know they often ARE guilty but i do not think there is a right way to act, people will read different things into it in any case, IMO

It is still my opinion that Donna O did not walk away from her life.

As for being abducted, I think some types of criminals are interested only in their
own gratification and do not care about the age of a woman.

If she does have an enemy, I don't think it is from the family.
She seems to have a quite large supportive family that love her and she loves them.
(I did have a thought or two about her husband, but I will just that alone as
there is nothing pointing at him as someone who would harm his wife)

It is certainly too bad that the mall did not think to install/fix the outside security cameras in the five years they have been out.

I agree with many statements made by posters here and certainly the fact that an abductor would not be concerned about or know the age of the victim.

I wish we knew more about Donna O'Rielly. We've heard the family speak of her in relation to them (loved being a grandma, etc.) however, I would like to know more about her.

What were her goals, desires, wants in life? What hobbies did she have? Was she on any type of medications or have any type of medical condition that would be worrying if not maintained? How do her friends describe her? What do her co-workers have to say about her work - how much/little she enjoyed it - and how she was with them? Was she passionate about a particular cause? What I'm alluding to is that I hear nothing about who this woman is.

Harold's pensiveness bothers me .. he had his daughters speak for him .. and I wasn't completely comfortable with that. I also was a little skeptical about the fact that he drove on Gorge Rd to see if she slipped into the ditch - another family member actually went to the mall where the car was then found there - not having moved.

The family members of missing southwest coast native Donna O'Rielly are trying to get on with their lives, albeit with one major piece of their lives still missing.

Donna O'Rielly has been missing since the evening of Feb. 26, when mall security cameras show her leaving her place of work.

Mrs. O'Rielly was born in Isle aux Morts and spent over 20 years living in Gander before moving to Moncton, N.B.

Her brother, Dave Lawrence, said the family is holding out hope although he admits the odds of finding her alive diminish with each passing day.

"We know its not a good situation any which way we look at it. While she's missing there is still that possibility that she may be out there, being kept captive," said Mr. Lawrence, from his home in Nova Scotia.

"That's our hope that she is alive. We'll never let go of that hope as long as we don't hear anything."

The family has created a website with information about Mrs. O'Rielly and is offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to her return. The reward can be claimed anonymously.

Mr. Lawrence said the money was put forward by family members as well as some concerned citizens who offered financial support.

Mr. Lawrence addressed rumors that Mrs. O'Rielly may have been harmed by one of her tax clients. She was preparing to retire from her job at H&R Block when she went missing.

"I think all the clients she had were interviewed by the police - these guys all had alibis," he said.

Very respectfully snipped my me for space considerations only. Let me flap my lips here for a minute - I have a big/huge problem with Harold. I have scrutinized the video of the press conference with the daughters and Harold's words and body language do not match on some questions and there is attentiveness/alertness only on certain questions. This bothers me greatly. There I have said it - he just simply does not add up in my opinion only.

eleph ...... :truce:

Is there any way that we can get Donna's birthdate along with Harold's birthdate? I would say based on the PerfSpot that Donna's birthday would be August 29, 1955?

I will ask our WS astros to weigh in if we can get the birthdates.

ShinaLite put a request yesterday (post # 495) http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77542&page=25
I'm not sure if that information will be enough for the Astros. FWIW Harold and Donna, who are originally from Gander but moved to Moncton in 2004, were approaching their 35th wedding anniversary in August.
Donna would have been around 19 years old when she got married.

There is a woman named "Tracy" on "find D.O. fb" page talking about an encounter with two men asking her how to remove a 'boot' from a car .. that their car was undrivable.

Suspicious yes - why would two men ask a woman about removing a boot from a car? hmmm.

**cut from conversation:
Hello there, my name is Tracy. I work at Rogers, on Westmorland. On Saint Patrick's day at about 9:45pm, two men approached me as I was leaving work and heading to my car. I had already left the building through the side door and I was approached in the shadow of the side of the building in the middle of the very dark parking lot.

When they approached me, I had my keys in my hand and my wallet in the other. I made sure to put my keys in between my fingers so that I could strike out at either one of them if they came near me or got too close to me.

Now I'm a larger lady, and I always think to myself, "Gee why would anyone want to abduct me, I'm not all that attractive, I don't drive a fancy car..." But now after the disappearance of Donna, I feel that it doesn't matter how old, young, pretty, ugly, or whether your a man or woman, if someone is intending on taking you away, they will try.

Anyway the two men had liquor on their breath, but they were not highly intoxicated because they were speaking to me clearly and I could understand them. They weren't staggering about while they were walking.

They both asked me how to remove a boot from a vehicle. They said that their vehicle had been rendered undrivable, and that they weren't from around here. They wanted me to do them a favor by going with them to their car to help them find the phone number to get the boot removed.

Right there the alarm bells went off in my head... I told them that my car had never ever been booted, but, there should be a sticker or a sign telling them what number they need to call to get the boot taken off.

They again insisted that I come with them to help.

Yikes. That's all I have to say about this!
She does say on the FB page that she contacted the police - and hopefully she gave them descriptors of the two men.

She mentions Creek Restaurant (as to where the guys went) there is a Creek Seafood Restaurant 0.5 km's from Highfield Square. She further mentions that she drove by the place where they were headed and she saw no vehicle - let alone one with a boot on it.
