Does anyone have a way for us to talk to Michael arntsfield firectly. my husband tried emailing him but not sure if its the right one because there was no response. And snoopster we got your message but couldn't reply.

I updated the case map to reflect the tail found this week.

Something jumped out at me when I looked at this latest find, particularly if this turns out to be a cat tail.

The large animals/coyotes were all found in winter, during cold weather, and were found NW of the city and/or north/NE in the city.

Two cats were found last year in warmer weather. One found in July, partially skinned, in Springbank Park. The other was shot in the leg (survived) in the Commissioners/Viscount area in September. What if this latest find is a continuation of someone attacking cats (i.e. not the same person as the coyote guy) and other small animals during the non-winter months. (The weather this week, until yesterday, was reasonably warm with highs in the 10-13 degree range, or low 50s in F.) If the latest find was a cat tail, then all three cat incidences were in the S/SW end of the city, along the Commissioners/Baseline corridor.

I've added coloured "zones" on my map to highlight my point.

messaged you.

Were pretty sure it's a fox tail. But you could be right. The funny thing is, is my husband looked up the significance of a fox tail and coyote and bith mean trickster and/or sly. Please people do your research on the meaning of fox tail and the meaning of coyote personality. My husband has a feeling he's native and has to be strong. I can't wait to show the pictures but right now we are holding them close until we talk to Michael arntsfield. We got thinkung about what Michael arntsfield theory is about it being sexually related. Im not too sure aboutthat. But iI'm not a cop or doctor. Lol. But he's definitely doing it for attention seeking. The problem is if we give him too much media attention he's going to do it more and if we dont give enough recognition he will definitely do something more drastic.

Very interesting comments about the meanings of fox tails and coyotes!

I agree that you should get advice from Dr Mike before sharing the photos. The email address I sent you through private message worked for me. He might just have been tied up today with other commitments or not looking at his work email right now. You can always look up his email address on the Western University website. They have contact info for the profs. (That's where I originally got his address.)

P.S. His last name doesn't have an "s" in it.

Good luck.

Ok. I didnt realise it didn't gave an s in his name. We have emailed mike several times with no luck, and snoopster im sorry but i didn't get your email about his contact info. Also I'm new to this so how do I post pictures.

Another note is where the Dog/fox tail we found the other day is like a 5 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the beer store on wharncliffe.

Hopefully this helps!

Sorry for all the posts, just want to correct/update this news report. Not dogs, but varied animals and there are 27 carcasses, not 19.

[h=1]Dead animals found in Quebec not dogs: police[/h]
Quebec provincial police said Tuesday that the rotting animal carcasses found on the outskirts of a town near Quebec City were not dogs, but coyotes, fishers, ducks and raccoons.

Police were investigating after citizens discovered up to 27 dead animals on the side of a road in Cap-Sante, about 50 kilometres southwest of the provincial capital.

i would like to add to this, there has been a multitude of barn fires down around Kitchener, killing livestock, completely destroying barns, i didn't look on WS before i posted, sorry if it was mentioned or threaded already.

IMO
I would never use poisons or foot traps for any type of animal control because you can harm animals that you dont intend to. Even your own pets can inadvertently eat the poisons or get caught in traps.

not just Kitchener ... London and area too

I was mapping them for awhile but couldn't keep up with it

Police investigating after decapitated goat, chickens found near Pickering waterfront
There are no leads so far as to who left the animals there and why, police say.

“We’re trying to get information to find out exactly who did this and why they did this,” Const. George Tudos told CP24.com.
Tudos would not say how the animals died, but he said police are treating the discovery as suspicious.
“It’s not a common call that our officers respond to on a regular basis. So it’s somewhat suspicious, especially finding this in a public place,” he said.
