"OTTAWA More than three months after the beaten and burned body of 18-year-old Valerie Leblanc was found behind a community college in Gatineau, Que., police will canvas the neighbourhood with questionnaires in hand, hoping for more detailed information.
Police released more information Tuesday about an "important witness" they are seeking, including details about the bike he was walking with as well as his "rather peculiar walk."
The sketch of the face of the main witness remains the same but police released more details about his walk, which they describe as strained.
"He has to make an effort to draw his leg from the back to the front and to shift his weight from one leg to the other," said Sgt. Jean-Paul Le May.
Police also said the man's bike appears to be a low-end model mountain bike with a red, diagonal line on the upper frame."
