I think Baez is so involved because this is such an enormous high profile case. He's a "famous" lawyer now. If he wins this case (God forbid) it would be huge for his career. He's probably terrified when stuff like this happens.

The way I understood one of the experts explain the hair decomp thing is that they could actually tell if the hair came from a dead body by the flesh attached at the root. So if smeone were to say that hair came off of a jacket of caylee's that had been thrown in the trunk the study of the flesh on the hair would disprove that the hair came from a live Caylee.

Indeed. You have to wonder if when Cindy and George get up in the morning and have their coffee, they won't in some way feel relieved. Which of course will battle with the guilt for feeling relieved, which will fight for brain time with the anger at everyone outside their circle of safety.

Will someone please refresh my memory - I know we found the other Cynthia Anthony earlier, before the 400 page release - but didn't the page in the release have some wierd commonality listed on the "rap sheet" for this other Cynthia - like same SS# or birthday or something?

They weren't on private property. And the right to protest is also one of the freedoms we enjoy.

Thank you. I did see this on NG last night, but I guess what I'm hoping for is this (and forgive me for being gross): Was there a hair found that was mixed in with the decomp, i.e., was the hair laying in a puddle of fluid? If they do nuclear testing and find that the hair is Caylee's AND the stain/fluid is decomp from Caylee, then NO! you twisted *advertiser censored* Cindy, it was not someone else's body in the trunk of the car, it was Caylee!

There's also the possibility of the band that forms on the hair after death...

I am also a die hard believer in LE on this one.

I think you are absolutely correct in believing LE is working this case.

And while I troll for new updates, I am also grateful that LE holds so many things back.

I'm with you on being reasonable. But burden of proof on murder is BEYOND a reasonable doubt.

I get it. But seriously, I still find all of the evidence - just what we know of - to be compelling beyond a reasonable doubt. It is NOT, IMO, reasonable to assume someone else sneaked into the tow yard and planted a dead body in the trunk of a car that just happened to be Casey's... Or any of the other lies...

Okay, now 2 questions...
1) Who's Dakota?
2) Does Florida charge murder charges without a body? Are there cases like that there? I don't think all states do that.

Dakota is a 12 year old girl who the Anthony's and Casey have been feeding koolaid to the past month or so. Casey has been corresponding by email, most likely against her bond restrictions. The little girl found out about the decomp results this week and evidently had a breakdown of some sort because of it.

IIRC, Florida can charge without a body.

My understanding is that, while the hair is still attached, the root is growing out of the follicle. If the hair is pulled from the head while one is alive, there would be no evidence of decomp on the root. If the hair falls out after death, there will be decomp on the root.

I believe that they have a hair with decomp on the root.

I thought that too, then, I listened to the expert on NG last night. I'm just wondering if you know this for fact and maybe know where we can look it up? I don't do forensics. But I can read & learn. In my past life I was a scientist. : ) Of course, I used a slide rule for my finals too.

Ok, so the whole tragedy of Missing Caylee is NOT funny.
But every once in awhile I will find something a bit amusing about the whole thing and it will actually feel good to chuckle.

Look, no need to apologize for saying "your piece". We are all entitled. My pissed off attitude has nothing to do with the constitution or any other thing the United States stand for. I am PISSED OFF that Jose Baez would have the BALLS to stand in front of God and everybody and say that what happened tonite was to make his client "LOOK BAD". Helloooooo... I think she had that one in the bag weeks ago!!! And she got re-arrested tonite because, guess what, she broke the law! Yeah, there's a lot of emotion surrounding this case. And good reason for it. But the chit that came out of JB's mouth tonite insults all of our intelligence.

I've just logged back in after watching everything go down on television and am catching up. Just wanted to raise my drink to you Tracey and toast you for a wonderful post!!!:toastred:
