I think G realized from the get go that Baez was exactly what Casey did NOT need.

G knew Casey well enough to know she needed an atty. who wasn't going to enable her & allow this sick case to become even sicker than it was at the beginning.

Between Baez & Cindy wanting to believe in Casey's lies... I think G only had 2 choices.... completely distance himself from the family OR try to stick around so he can help pick up the pieces when it's all over.

Unlike others, I don't necessarily see G as weak... I see him more as being compassionate enough to go through the gates of hell for Cindy's sake.

I totally agree with you. G really loves his wife. So much so that her needs become his needs. He is going to be there for her even if it means throwing himself on a land mine to break her fall.

Unless KC really does have a $15K bank account stashed somewhere, I don't think she was "hooking" or "escorting". As others have said, there would have been signs of income and we haven't seen any; expensive clothes, new car, jewelry, weekly pre-set salon appointments, extravagant gift giving, medical insurance etc. And, there would be plenty of money for a licensed day care or a private-sitter.

I am going to guess that CA was giving her some play money every week and let her use the credit cards, expecting KC to keep the purchases to a reasonable amount. No doubt GA gave her some gas money, etc. when she would ask.

As for clothes from Target - what is the big deal? I have bought clothes from Target, Wal-Mart and K-Mart. I have a coat that I bought at a gas station. My "court" clothes came from JCP and "dressy/play" clothes from the avon or spiegel fashion catalog until my practice grew. I hope you girls aren't telling me you are all SFANMB'rs from birth! When ya'll say bad things about Target clothes I feel insulted. Not really, but I just can't insult or judge people on their clothes.

I do not begrudge anyone their choice of stores to buy their clothes in ...my favorite store happens to be the Harley Davidson Store but I alos go over to the flip side and given the chance will go to the Neiman Marcus Outlet. I happen to love to search the Goodwill, Salvation Army and other consignmnet stores so there is no telling where I have purchased what I am wearing at any given time. My point about KC shopping at Target is that she had to steal the money from a friend to do it. Just as simple as that. No offense intended to anyone at all. I am far from a clothes snob.

I thought about this last night. Everyone keeps saying that Casey couldn't be an escort because she didn't have any money. What if she was APART of an escorting service? If she had a "pimp" so to speak they would take most of the money. She would have some money to party and to hang out with but not enough to raise suspicions on where she got so much money. People are going to go back and forth on this thread discussing working for an escort service means you would have money, could buy nice clothes, car, house, etc.. vs. KC wasn't really "selling" her body, instead more like giving it away like something disposable, as with her ex-boyfriend (I can't remember who it was, but someone does... either RM or AR maybe? and he described how sex with her had been businesslike (just paraphrasing) she would just get up and be through as soon as they were done like it was a service.

My point, I guess, is KC could have easily worked for an escort service, spent her money on drugs, food, gas, and other BS, and not had much money left for new, expensive clothes. And Target works well for her age and the purpose KC's clothes serve. A close friend of mine worked for an escort service (and she'd tell you this) but had to give the "pimp" almost all of her money, and he would buy certain clothes or boots or manicures or a haircut or whatever to give her. But she said not necessarily all pimps would buy you things. And when they did spend money it was when they wanted to, and usually as an investment type thing. And so she started hiding money away to send back home to her mom and son. My guess, and it's only a guess, is that KC was definitely involved with meth or ecstasy or whatever drug. Ya know, I think she was probably sleeping when she was supposed to be "working". I think she waited for her parents to go to work and she went back home and went to bed every day.

What you describe is a hooker, a prostitute... The kind of woman who gives he@d for $20.00. An Escort is very differrent and pretty much calls her own shots. Not to mention the fact that she usually gets paid about 60% of the $240.00 an hour that many agencys charge for their services.
