If I read this correctly...they were granted an order of extension to March 5, 2012 and filed the Supplemental records on March 8, 2012

my oh my - Lizabeth has been busy - why do I think there's a missing piece that will require a further extension - calculated, of course, Lizabeth would never miss a ... deadline

This is another obscenity courtesy of FCA and her attorneys. How on Earth can they possibly even try to appeal this?? She certainly lied to LE as well as her family and the rest of the world...there is no denying that.

Does this mean they missed the deadline? Would missing this latest deadline cause her appeal to be dismissed by the court? I know, it's fca. They will find a way to keep her rights of appeal intact. :banghead:

In my experience with filing appeal briefs, as long as your mailing is postmarked (which we always did certified mail, return receipt requested to have proof) by the deadline date, you are fine. Meaning they probably mailed the documents off postmarked 3/5 and they were received by the court 3/8 (or whatever the deadlines above are...I'm still asleep sorry)

ETA: This always meant for me a just before midnight run to the one post office that would take you in the back door and postmark for you. Precisely why I don't work for attorneys now, and work for the other side!

In my experience with filing appeal briefs, as long as your mailing is postmarked (which we always did certified mail, return receipt requested to have proof) by the deadline date, you are fine. Meaning they probably mailed the documents off postmarked 3/5 and they were received by the court 3/8 (or whatever the deadlines above are...I'm still asleep sorry)

Did the DT file/submit the Supplemental to the Orange County court clerk first?..
On the OC court site they have entered a date of March 7th, 2012 stating the Appeal was mailed and the Appeal Court recorded it on March 8.

I always thought that FCA's attorneys appealed the verdict as a way to plead the fifth on the civil cases and that they would be delaying this appeal over and over until the civil cases are over. Once those cases are over, could FCA's attorneys just drop the appeal or are they required to see it through?

Since FG's case has now been delayed until 1013, does that mean the appeal hearing will also be delayed?

What could happen if the board decides to deny any delays and go ahead and decide on the appeals before the civil cases are heard?

I am assuming (oops) that it is the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. It is a court which is higher than the Florida Circuit Court where she was tried. It then goes to the circuit appeals court.

just checked 5th District Court website and they filed another Motion for EOT

I just see her disappearing when her probation is finished and her attorney's swearing in court of Law that they have no idea where she is or some other already used bs about she is in treatment and can't leave the facility etc - whatever........liars liars everyone associated with "her", from attorneys, attorney helpers to family.
