Yes. Your post got me to thinking. An "Event Planner" has to have all kinds of dress. I can only imagine what an Event Planner for Universal would have to have in their wardrobe but KC obviously didn't have it. The lastest in style is a must, even if you get them at Target. Slacks and a shirt as her usual "workwear" is just not believable, the event planner has to blend into the crowd, one can't over or underdress your event.
If the pictures are truely all of her shoes, really KC didn't have the clothes/shoes for a 20 something to go clubbing in. What did she spend money on?

I would expect that Universal, with all the uniforms it provides to all of their park employees, would likey have a uniform "suit" for their event planners to wear at events including a nametag so that guests and vendors could distinguish between other guests and employees of the event. For setup, the event planners would probably wear jeans and a polo shirt with the Universal logo. Most corporate event planners wear low heeled pumps - mainly because they put in 12 to 16 hour event days where they are constantly on their feet. Even if they wore sneakers for setup, they would likely change to black low heeled pumps for the event.

To paraphrase CA,KC didn't work FOR Universal, per se,but for a company that contracted with Universal.
Either way,I agree that she doesn't have proper work attire. It's already been established she was lying about her job.

bbm: I suspect her phone bill for one. Gas for her car. Even shopping at Targee and Penny's prior to her using AH's id/checks can cost $$$. Drug store makeup can run some $$$s too. Besides it costs money to fake ones way through life. My kids could blow through more than $100.00/weekly just on stuff they considered basis necessities when they were that age. I don't think CA would have paid for any much less all of KC's personal needs. CA went into debt on Caylee's wants and needs.

I guess she was lying about the kind of event planner I thought she was.....hehehehe.

I looked through all the photos listed of KC's shoes and I cannot find any that look exactly like the shoes she has on in the BB video. It is such a blurry video that it's difficult to see what shoes she's wearing. The best I can make out is it looks to be either while tennis shoes or white slip on tennis shoes. In one pic it looks like there is something dark around the top of the shoe but it may just be shadows in some of the pics. The only shoes in evidence photos that IMO could even be a possibility are the ones in pic row 24 down and 5 across. They are white with some pink and black on top with a black ring around the top ankle area/front top of foot. I doubt these are the ones she's wearing but I don't see another pair that look even remotely like what she's wearing in the BB video. If they got the shoes she wore on the day she killed Caylee, they could hold tiny dna evidence unseen with the naked eye. All it would take is one little drop of body fluid from a deceased Caylee. Just hoping here.

Another thought--if they have the shoes Caylee wore out of the house that day(the ones GA says she was wearing (I know--could be a big fat lie) and no shoes were found at the remains site, they also could have a drop or two of something useful, and if it is so minute that KC thought they were unmarked and kept them -- put them back in her room, they could be a story teller for Caylee. Fingers crossed. JMO

I couldn't tell what kind of shoes she was wearing at Blockbuster at all.

I wonder if there could be footwear impressions found at the remains site, like on the plastic bags that were in the laundry bag, or inside the laundry bag itself, somewhere that was protected from the elements?

I think that Casey's shoes and wardrobe show that Casey didn't have a job where she had to show up, such as an event planning job at Universal.

She didn't have the shoes you would expect her to have for a job that involves being on your feet a lot.

She did have those boots in the Fusian club photos where she wore a blue dress. I don't recall those boots being shown in any of the evidence photos though.

Maybe KC tried to CLEAN the white tennis shoes she was wearing at Blockbuster's? Sneaker cleaner was found in the bag of trash from Tony's house that was in KC's car trunk.

Wonder how KC got her shoes dirty? Maybe the bag leaked when she moved Caylee and she tried to salvage the shoes?

Yuri asks Tony about the cleaner in the September 8 interview. Tony says the sneaker cleaner came from HIS apartment. When Tony says he didn't think the sneaker cleaner was empty, Yuri counters that he didn't say it was empty. He just wants Tony to identify that it came from his apartment:
YM: Oh, yeah (affirmative)? What’s that, fast acting cleaner. Like a…
TL: Well…
YM: …sneaker cleaner or something like that. Is that something you guys would use?
TL: Uhm…
TL: …that was uh, something that Clint, Clint had. He left it at my house. I didn’t know that that was empty though.
YM: Now this is, it’s all in a trash bag, whether it’s empty or not, but something you recognize? Maybe, maybe….
TL: Yup (affirmative).
YM: …maybe not? Okay.
TL: I do.

On page 129, starts the additonal items taken from residence..Most show no apparent geologic material or insufficent, I truly feel this does place KC to the crime scene in the woods.

I don't understand what I'm reading but I think it's a match...:waitasec:

I would have just thrown those shoes in the washer myself. The shoes are a size 2 which I assume is a child's 2. That is a small shoe. I thought a child's 3-3 1/2 would be the same as a woman's 5-5 1/2.

Bumping my own post to see if someone looked at the results of these two pair of flip flops..as I said I don't know if I am understanding correctly...

Also, JBean, I don't recall calling anyone names in my post....sorry...

KC was not nearly as smart as she thought she was. Or people are not as dumb as she thought. She just never thought the whole thing out well enough.
NO...But I think that her family rescue team did....
Or would be easier to go to court by now.

I have been slowly, as time permits, going back over all the listings on wftv's site. I am particularly interested in what shoes KC is wearing in the Blockbuster video of June 16th? Because to me it looks like white tennis shoes but I can't find any white tennis shoes in the evidence photos of items taken from the A home. I know they took boots out of her car, was there another pair from the car? Do we know what they were? If these shoes are missing that is mighty curious to me. jmo
Good point...I am curious too....and yet who is to say she did not wear more then one pair on that day?
I do switch shoes within one day very often.

Couldn't she have tossed the shoes into the Amscot dumpster or even somewhere along the side of a road? I'm not so sure that she'd bring the shoes back home.

Regarding any soil found on the soles of her shoes ... the crime scene is so very close to the A's home. I'm sure the defense will argue that both locations are comprised of the same type of soil. Is this possible? Would be a shame for the defense to succeed at arguing this point. Hopefully, even with the close proximity of the two sites, the swampy makeup of the crime scene soil is enough to make it readily identifiable.

I cannot believe I never caught this before. In the July 10th Target video KC buys a pair of white and black shoes! Looks like a type of tennis shoes. At the 2:11 mark:

If LE never found the shoes and clothes she is wearing in the June 16th BB video then I bet she got rid of them asa she had the chance. She had a whole month to toss the clothes and the shoes she was wearing when she got rid of Caylee. Those clothes/shoes? long gone I bet. Too bad.

MOO

I agree. Even if she wasn't too bright, I think she was smart enough to know not to keep the clothes.

WOW...great catch! I totally missed this and I've watched this video numerous times. Interesting...I've not read or heard anything about these shoes...I'm sure LE caught it, (surely, right???), if so, then I would think they would / would've been trying to locate them???
Off to see if I can't find anymore pics of these shoes...thanks for such a great find!
