I think she was involved in the case before that. There is a picture on another website of an event for Trenton with a girl who looks like, and probably is, KC. I tried to copy the picture before to bring it here but it wouldn't work. Maybe it's on Trenton's MySpace account.

RG said on NG last night that maybe KC tried to stage a kidnapping and it went wrong. He said that she was trying to get away from her mother. That theme is in CA's 7/3/08 MySpace blog that we all are familiar with now. Just a thought!

Would you be able to link to me that site because I can most likely get that photo for you.

This is creepy. But I think you're on to something here, especially considering that she used the word "script" when she changed the kidnapping story to have taken place at Blanchard Park.

Great thread! I have been reading this site for months now and just finally was able to sign up.. You guys are amazing detectives!

There are hundreds of missing children cases where the parents refused to cooperate and got away with it. There is even a case that uses the name Gonzales:

"http://www.missingkids.com/missingki...archLang=en_US RIYLA WILSON Age 6 her date missing is unknown.

OFF TOPIC SORTA
I found this news article about Rilya.http://www.wesh.com/news/3790195/detail.html

From article-
[SNIP]Several witnesses told investigators that Geralyn Graham gave Rilya to a Hispanic woman in late 2000 to go on a trip. One witness told investigators she believed the woman had informally adopted Rilya, and the child was living with her.
Pamela said in her statement that she believed the Hispanic woman's name was Gomez or Gonzalez, but she didn't have any other information about her.{UNSNIP}

Has gonzalez replaced the "bushy haired stranger?"

Casey could have picked up a LOT of information from missing child sites and, if she did, it seems she used it to best advantage.

My opinion only.

I followed this story and it was so sad. No one cared for about this poor child... not the state (she was a foster child), Not 1 person. I remember her biological mother came foward some time later and told the press that her name, Rilya, stood for " Remember I'll love you always". And all I could think was well, where the hell were you all this time then?

Thinking about this case still makes me sad, that poor child never stood a chance, never knew love.

Im POSITIVE she researched and found out what story to tell.

Me too! I think something in the news some time ago set her devious mind going, perhaps Trenton's disappearance, and she set about researching and formulating her plan. I'm undecided as to what she wanted to happen afterwards, but in any event I think it was cut short by CA's "interference", before KC was ready.

This thread is very interesting. I cannot believe the way KC's mind works if she actually put this "script" together, piece by piece. So she wanted to stage a kidnapping? To what end? To get money from the story? To get away from home? How CRAZY is she? Amazing

Ya know, if there was no evidence in that trunk, I would not be surprised AT ALL if all of a sudden Caylee was found, alive and well and we find they had faked all of this as a way to get money.. to sell their story, get famous.

These people are about the most personality disordered bunch I have ever seen and I'll tell ya, coming from me, that's saying something LOL.

welcome to WS, they are great at what they do!

Remember how Casey was reported to have looked at missing-persons sites on her computer? I wonder if she found any on which to pattern her story. Here's one we have a thread on right here at WS with eerie similarities.
The boy's parents are suspects now, eleven years later, but they still haven't been charged, although at least one sibling claims to have seen her brother dead.
Websleuths Thread: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24126&highlight=kema

I wonder if we can find any other cases like this that Casey may have run across.
Haven't read further down the thread yet, but I was thinking about this just today.
- The chloroform...didn't they suggest something along the same line in the MM case? Sorry if this has been talked about down the road.

To put things back the way they were before Caylee. To be the little princess again. She's never had to take responsibility for anything she's ever done in her life........least of all Caylee. She got tired of being saddled with babysitting, finding babysitters, being pushed to find her own place, pressured for stealing money. She's always been about "take, take, take". She's not Crazy, she's a spoiled wrotten brat that is now reaping the rewards of her selfish self.

I have to differ, even though I wish I could more often agree with people. I don't believe Casey was spoiled rotten. I believe she had to fight her mother ever step of the way, for every breathe she took. I think Caylee was an act of defiance, the final act to get ever, get away from a controlling mother, one who wanted to suck the life blood out of everyone around her.

Don't get me wrong, Casey was no angel, but I believe she was acting out, trying to break free of the silken, smothering net her mother had spun around her, the toooo perfect child's room, the illusion of a perfect life. I don't think Casey knew any better; I don't think she had any other way to fight. Yes, Casey may have been the one to physically kill her daughter, but I believe the seeds were sown long before the act and not necessarily by Casey.

My opinion only.

Right on, I am so w/ you. This story is so bizarre, that it would almost make more sense if the family had planned it for fame and fortune.

Hi :)

I also think some parts of this case are similar to that of Madeleine McCann and ofc that was a major story the past year so its not unlikely she wouldnt have heard about it.

MOO

Hi Isabella - welcome to WS! Yes, there are similarities with the Maddie case and I'm sure KC heard about Maddie. KC just forgot she was in the US, not Portugal or Great Britian.......

Did the computer search forensics give us any idea at all as to what KC searched? It seems LE is holding a lot of that info back.

We dont know the time frame for these searches or whose computer. Heck it could be after Caylee was reporting missing and the Anthonys read here that some speculated Casey was working as an escort and they searched to see if they could find her picture on any of them. Or it could be LA who travels alot for his job so checking out various areas. So many possibilities.

It was my hunch that having ruined her friendship with amy and planning to do a number on tony her next move would be to calif starting with that boyfriend she had a convo with . She may have been looking into work there.

I just don't understand this woman because her boss at Kodak thought she had loads of talent. She could have gotten a good recomendation and a good decent job. I don't know what was holding her back.

Her mother seemed to think otherwise labeling her as 'without a future'. Was her mother so demoralizing her that she felt hopeless? I think so.

This is the tragedy of this case: a young woman so humiliated and demeaned by her mother that she was incaspable of seeing herself clearly and unable to make wise decisions. I think her breakup with JG was also due to pressure from her mother and that may well be what set her over the edge. It is not unusual for a woman to become promisuous after breaking off a love releationship especially when so coerced by her mother. What values can she possibly have? She would become more and more confused as her mother usurped her reality.

She called her mom to meet her somewhere and then slipped in the house while mom was gone. She has lots of tricks up her sleeve.

I guess that was why there was a flurry of calls on the 16th. She was making sure no one was home.

Not a tear. No plea to the kidnapper.

I have been trying to put myself in the same situation as a mother. I have two boys (but hope to have a girl someday)...but let's say one of my boys got a girl pregnant and I allowed all of them to live under my roof...I would encourage them to do the best they could while supporting them. Having an open and honest flow of communication is the most important thing in every family...

As far as promiscuity is concerned. I see that as a nonissue. It is certainly ok for men - and it has ALWAYS been ok for men (because theyare just called players and it is cool in todays society) so it should be just fine for women.

I wish we had more info on the Trenten Duckett event that Casey was possibly photographed at.
