The media doesn't seem to be making anything of the ZG searches and it seems that if she were doing all of the searches so far in advance they would, so are we reading the time stamps correctly? They all seem to have a July 16 date in there somewhere and it would make sense that CA would be searching after she heard KCs story.
Any computer techies that can interpret all the dates for us?
There appear to be two sets of searches for Zenaida. One on July 16, 2008 (
probably Cindy's frantic search after Casey lied to her and told her Zenaida had Caylee), and the other on June 13, 2008 (
3 days prior to when KC alleges Caylee went missing). Also, one searcher is using Firefox, whereas the other is using IE5, and someone is using Safari. It's unclear what date the myspace searches for Zenaida were done, or, for that matter, which puter was used for safari & myspace searches. Esp since both KC & Cindy appear to have myspace accts.
As for creation dates? Each needs to be examined in the context of the file type. So, for example, your history files may have an old date, simply due to the default history caching. Whereas graphics might have a file creation date of the time downloaded, but an exif creation date that is early. The same could go for pics as well.
As an aside, I am surprised they did not separate their puter forensic findings into individual reports (
one for each computer). Since both Cindy & George own the HP Pavillion. For example the "
distraught" post was clearly written by Cindy. In fact, sleuthers found that myspace post early on.
I am also surprised what little data they produced for the report, not to mention the subjective nature of the data collected. For example, the '
why do people kill people' pic that the media is making a big deal out of, is an anti-death penalty ad. And, for all we know, the Anthonys could simply be against capital punishment. :shrugs: In other words, and imho, anyone with any computer forensic training could easily refute whatever underlying meaning they may assign to that particular pic.
The most interesting (imho) puter forensic evidence collected is the correspondence btwn KC & Hawkins (
isn't he the guy from Cali?) and the possibility that she was getting ready to run. The other thing that I found interesting was the notation that they collected the data into an excel spreadsheet. Being the technodweeb that I am, I'd love to get my hands on the raw data (i.e., that spreadsheet).
