Maybe he's been bombarded with messages from people (and the media) badgering him about who he is and what his real connection to Casey is.

Yet another hypocrite..... if I felt like that about someone, I wouldn't go visit them in jail.

Keep in mind that this was her first reaction to hearing the news (posted July 17th). She's had some time to think since then and may be like the others- in denial, or may be going because she thinks she might be able to talk some sense into Casey and get her to tell the truth. They were friends.

Remember, Grandma's first reaction was to call the police and tell them that the car smells like there was dead body in it. After she had some time to think about it, she went into denial and told the world that it smelled bad because of an old slice of pizza.

ETA: After doing more research, I do not think this is the same person. The Stephanie that posted on his site is from Maine. I believe it is his sister (maybe) and when they say mom - I really think they are talking about their mother - who also has a myspace page - but it is now private.

You're quite possibly right, Ella's Mom, but I have a problem with it because for me there is only black and white. I don't do shades of gray. I was selfishly speaking from my own perspective only.

I feel like a nut even commenting on this I guess all the waiting gets us thinking... but that company says they specialize in hardscape surfaces.. like concrete? could be a sing.

no i dont think so. only because his profile was strikingly different a week ago. it had blogs about caylee, jesus ortiz, how he is trying to change from the life he used to lead but he is realizing how hard that is...and then it became limited after the video was released, but you could still read his comments...and now it has become unrecognizable as patrick, dude in video.

stephanie, who is 28 and in maine, is feeling "accomplished," while her brother alex (i presume) is feeling good. part of me thinks they are prosecution witnesses. by going in to talk to casey, since she knows them personally, she will be more compelled to explain herself - if not what happened, at least circumstances surrounding it. considering casey is talking to them, one on one, in person, its not hearsay. so alex and stephanie can take the stand and testify as to exactly what casey said to them.

while the police can't legally make casey talk (and obviously, her "friends" cant "force" her to, if she chooses not to), casey can't hide behind the constitution when talking to them. so she either looks completely guilty in front of her friends and family by opting to remain silent...or she opens up a bit.

anything that she says will be recorded and monitored. and i think these two will attempt to elicit incriminating information. this is intriguing....

what else have you guys learned? i am studying, i can't research stuff right now! so i am relying on you to keep me informed, information wise...

I found this awhile back and I jsut realized something Alex ISN'T a myspace friend of CASEY'S,.. he is a myspace friend of CINDY'S! Not sure if it means anything, but alittle weird jmo

i know, i saw that when i first found him. he is connected to a few of her friends, i think. who were we saying is only friends with cindy? stephanie? i wonder why that is. clearly, cindy talks to whoever stephanie's mom is, or maybe stephanie herself. who else is visiting casey in jail?

Casey Anthony's brother Lee came to visit her Monday morning at the Orange County jail. He didn't talk to Eyewitness News when he arrived and he literally sped off down John Young Parkway in his Mustang after ducking out a back gate and literally running as Eyewitness News tried to ask questions, specifically about claims he's been making lately that Casey has given him the names of friends who know Caylee's alleged babysitter, Zenaida Gonzalez.

"Two particular people that introduced her to Zenaida because they had children and that's how the connection was made," Lee told the media over the weekend.

Despite that, Eyewitness News has been told that investigators are hearing nothing new from Casey and everything she has told them so far has led nowhere. Her attorney has also been claiming lately that she's willing to talk to the FBI.

What Eyewitness News has learned about that is nothing is stopping her from doing that. That's her call and her call only, and so far she hasn't made a call to the FBI telling them to come to the jail to talk.

I'm trying to figure out why they would release this and the only thing I can come up with is they are trying to snuff out Casey or her mom. Perhaps there are lies about other people during this meeting that would make Casey and/or Cindy break?

the anthonys' have been using the press hardcore to trash the police; i think, at the very least, they are establishing this family should not be trusted.

i think this is reaaallllly interesting - good job! this message was from stehanie (any relation to alex? who is "mom" that she is referring to?), calling casey a and hoping she gets the chair. i think casey and cindy had major issues - and casey used caylee to piss off cindy. so im sure cindy talked smack about her. at the same time, stephanie is going to visit casey, right? that seems so weird to me, unless they are trying to elicit information from her. but based on this, are we inferring that stephanie is not president of the "casey is awesome" fan club?

normally any visitor can see any defendant. but the defendant can refuse to see anyone they don't want to see.
