I don't know if this has been discussed before but, does anyone know what the hat Patrick is wearing is advertising, or what it says? I've tried to take a screen shot while the video was running but unfortunately when I paste it into photoshop the video screen appears totally in black. I wanted to blow it up some more so I could see what it says. Anyone??

Seems like a lot of posts in this thread are OT....and it makes reading the thread difficult. I know many are new here...so just a friendly reminder to keep the focus on the case and not personal matters. You can PM, use the other forums (we have plenty that fit anything OT), etc. I hope no one takes offense...but it makes following the case very hard with OT posts.

I've tried to make sure that my posts stayed on the subject at hand, even if there was a line or two that was O/T. Sorry if I didn't do that with all of my posts...I'll try to stick to the subject.

I am just now catching up here. You mentioned the cap this guy was wearing and I immediately thought that maybe he had Casey's boyfriend's favorite cap on, or maybe Mike Walker's cap.
He seemed to hold his head at such an angle before he finally took it off that it may have been to point her attention to it.
I had to work at the jail for a time first when I had gone into LE, and I can tell you that NO ONE can wear a cap/hat into the jail. Also, not just any Tom, Dick, and Harry can walk off the street to visit either.
Got to be a reason LE let this guy into visit!

Did anyone else notice the eyebrow thing Casey was doing also?? Or am I starting to read way too much into things? lol. Someone else requested the link again - sorry I already closed the window.

That's what I can't get past is that just anyone could go visit her. I'm sure they couldn't. Otherwise the National Enquirer would have made sure they were first on the list. That would mean it would have to come from either her attorney or LE. It would be sad to find out there was a breakdown in security.

None of it makes sense, right down to the phone calls. She could call collect without any money.
Also, jails run on a tight schedule and actually do not have enough personnel most of the time. Yet we have an officer escorting Casey to her visits, and to make phone calls. This is a high profile case, and as Caylee has not been found yet, this could easily turn into a murder case. I do not understand why Casey, her family, and her visitors seem to maybe have some extra privilages.

Something is going on. I think Casey is also off of suicide watch because she is evidently getting to watch TV now, and she has a t-shirt on under that blue jail outfit. A t-shirt can be torn and made into a VERY strong strip. That makes the fabric very strong. Also, I cannot imagine that she puts the blue jail uniform on, goes and talks to poeple on the phone, gets escorted back, changed into her 'dress' for suicide watch, then a little while later does the same thing all over again. No way can they have an officer spend so much time with ONE inmate.

Was the tape of the father and son (cannot remember how to spell their name) Burgeious (sp) released? That is one I would like to hear!

The more I watch the tape of Patrick's jailhouse visit, the more I think it was a message from Mike Walker. Casey's demeanor changes once he mentions Mike's name, and IMO it's a message to her to continue keeping her mouth shut.

Ok I am just catching up. This forum has been moving so fast that I can't keep up. I just listened to the prison phone calls. I can't believe that when the friend Christina starts crying and says she will die if anything happens to Caylee, Casey starts getting very angry and says that calling her family was a waste of time. Sounds like a very caring mother here...

I wonder why they haven't released the call to Tone.

It wouldn't make sense that anyone under a suicide watch would receive visitors at all. I haven't heard an audio for Frank and Patrick. Just the video of Patrick. Now with a public records request all tapes should have been released. But it makes you wonder if there is one of Frank out there doesn't there?

Good Morning all did anyone see Cindy's interview with I think Good Morning America this AM gave no new information was just trying to justify Casey's remarks when she called from jail the night of her arrest,she also said that she spoke with Casey and she told her (cindy) what was going on and that when all this comes out and made clear to the public that Casey will go down in history as the most protective mothers ever.WTF????? Did anybody else see this and if so whats going on here????

Another way to view the jailhouse visit: Didn't someone say that there is a Mike Walker from Olveida? Did LE rule out that anything happened in the "Olveida house"? Maybe Mike is 1. not showing his face in the jail so he sent an intermediary, and 2. he's sending a message to Casey that he will also continue to keep HIS mouth shut. The possibilities abound! But everyone seems to agree that the visit is just bizarre and something else is going on there.....

That is a contraband issue. Also, a cap can have anything in it on a normal 'contact' visit such as drugs around the headband, etc.
As this was a noncontact visit, it was done in the locked down area of the jail, and the rules would have to still apply concerning caps, etc.
I am convinced that there was a reason this guy had the cap on, and a reason this guy said what he said. LE is probably aware of it.

Ok have I missed THAT much? Who is this Patrick guy that goes to see her in jail? Was it really as innocent to say "Hey remember me from middle school? I'm here for you!" Ok if it was middle school for them, that would be at the least about 8 years ago when they were in 8th grade. I can't imagine that this guy so innocently came out of the woodwork 8 years after not seeing/talking to her to just say "You got a friend on the outside." I thought I read he may be related to Cindy. Where did that come from? And if he was, why would Casey say she "vaguely" remembered him?

good observation! you guys clarified some things for me. i really don't think that the jail would let some rando dude in to see casey, just to "wish her support." they may just wanted to monitor what this was all about. casey is a moron to begin with - in addition to all of the crazy lies, does she not realize that every move she makes is being taped and analyzed right now? even the hostility she takes with her family paints an entirely different picture of her than cindy and company are trying to portray. it makes her look like a cold unfeeling . she has been, BY FAR, her own biggest enemy.

back to the weird patrick visit. he says to her, "we just wanted to let you know that we are still on your team." why would this be said, if he really was just some guy she knew way back in middle school. she doesn't seem to "know" patrick until mike's name is mentioned. the conversation between patrick and casey takes place on the 24th - she mentions that she wants to talk to mike to her family on the 16th (i think). so we know that she is at least indirectly connected to patrick, as they have mike as a mutual friend, and we know that she has wanted to talk to mike for about a week already.

this could explain why she is nicer to lee and her family after patrick visited her (and seemingly tells them caylee is still alive). instead of freaking out and being evil, worrying that someone (mike?) is going to confess, she can go back to her relaxed spiderweb of lies. i think she assumes that caylee won't be found. and i think at this point, we would be kidding ourselves if we thought she was alive (sadly).

but why didn't mike go and see her himself? unless he wasn't able to, meaning the police already are investigating him, etc. so maybe this conversation was to tell her to be cool, mike isn't going to say anything, we are on your side, stick to the story. i don't read anything into the "relationship" tag from the visitors' log. i am sure they just put that for anyone who knows her. what the hell is going on here? we have a visual of patrick from the video, we need to find him in other pictures somewhere. or mike. he said they went to colonial together - is he on that alumni page at all?

If Mike was sending a message via Patrick it could merely be that Mike doesn't want his unrelated to this case illegal activities exposed by Casey. That would be very paranoid thinking on his part. And it failed miserably, because now alot of people are focusing on him. That would have been a very stupid, bold move. He would have been better off to go underground and lay low.

I don't remember her ever mentioning wanting to talk or see a Mike to her family. I thought it was just her wanting to call Tone. Where does it say she mentioned Mike?
