Narcissists don't kill themselves.
Ditto! (I thought you were camping out on the Nancy Cooper case!! LOL)Welcome back nursebee - we missed you too !
I don't believe a word Padilla says. Which Padilla are we talking about? the Deputy Sheriff, or the Bounty Hunter? It came and went quick. Reporter quoted Padilla as saying "20-30 percent chance" he will have her out today. If not today, tomorrow". Reporter said "absolutely, it is going to happen" and that she "will be going to the Anthony home"
I'm not sure if Casey is has NPD, although she has certainly displayed come narcissistic traits. The narcissist tends to externalize and blame others for the difficulties in their life. Their problems are due to others' inadequacies. However, when these normally solid and ingrained defenses are no longer effective they can and do become higher risks for suicide. In the grand scheme of things however, I agree that they are less likely to commit suicide as guilt and shame are usuallly absent...thus no need for self-punishment.

According to Fox New Channel as of this moment:
Bail Bondsman is on his way to bail out Casey.
My point is, she will not put a gun in her mouth. She has already killed herself in the eyes of public opinion. And she should be ASHAMED of herself for losing her child.Respectfully I disagree. Maybe not so much in the overt sense, but their propensity to live outside the fringe of us mere mortals with over the top excessive and compulsive behavior is very much linked to accidental death.
Point is, there is more than one way to kill oneself than the traditional sense, and I say there is a zero percent chance that once let out, that girl would ever step back into a cell, none, no matter how she made that happen.
Was that the local fox station? That's not what I heard on the national Fox News Channel.
jessunlil - now THAT'S a theory I agree with. Casey would ABSOLUTELY love to be almost dead as a result of a suicide or morder attempt...and so would her lawyer, I would imageine, for the sympathy it could garner her in the press re: future trial...
FWIW, it's not that I think she would never commit suicide, I am just not all that concerned about it & the case turning out to be another Melinda Duckett . . .
Thanks. I will be surprised if she gets out. LE better **** or get off the pot, and up those charges or else she will walk (not permanently, but I hope you guys know what I mean.)Sorry, the bounty hunter

Did he?! Thanks! I will have to go back and look. I was busy that night trying to keep him there so maybe I missed it.I thought he already answered that question.
I have to respectfully and strongly disagree with you. While she is very narcissistic, it is to a fault and when she realizes that life as she knew it is certainly over...she won't have anything left of an ego. She equates male attention with self-esteem. I could go on and on about what is going to take place with her emotionally...but since I have already done that...I won't. I believe that there is a strong chance that Casey has already entertained such thoughts while sitting in her jail cell. If she gets out, she is in for a very rude awakening as to her new status. She is no longer "Casey, the fun party girl"...but "Casey the lying, thieving, spoiled rotten princess who "lost" a precious child" now.
