Posted on the last thread just as it closed, so I'll bring it over here:

I don't think she was a family member because she made mention, IIRC, that she didn't know if she was being used by the family or whether to believe what they allegedly told her about JG.

Assuming she is being truthful, I think she's scared to death because she alleges Cindy told her that JG was dangerous and Casey said to stay away from him. I think she might be worried that someone might come get her, and that's why she's putting it out there all over the place...so that anyone planning to do her harm will know that if they do, it will come right back to them.

That's purely my speculation about her motives for posting and just a possible explanation for why she might be trying to get the info out there.

ETA: Welcome, DeputyAndy and other newcomers! :seeya:

I was on the thread with you, Sherbie. While I agree that the tone was one of fear, I got more of a feeling that is was also an attempt to cast 'reasonable doubt' out there.

Either way, I left feeling sorry for JG as a victim.

Just to get started, Casey has claimed that she last spoke with Caylee on the phone the day Cindy Anthony finally located her. Of course we are aware that Casey has been lying, seemingly about everything, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever asked Casey what that conversation she claims to have had with her daughter involved. Has Casey been asked what Caylee said? I haven't heard this question asked or answered in the media, and to my knowledge even her brother Lee didn't ask it in the early recorded conversations from jail. Thanks very much, Deputy Andy.

Welcome aboard, D.A.

IIRC, LE checked ALL the incoming numbers on her phone & didn't find one at the time she claimed 'Caylee' called.... and didn't find any numbers that weren't to friends or family that I recall.

Lee himself said he was having trouble confirming anything she said.

If I'm wrong... someone jump in. And hit me with a wet noodle.... I can take it. lol

gibby207, Thanks very much! It's nice to be welcomed. Fascinating case, huh? What do you think? My gut tells me Casey either killed this child, or something horrible happened causing Caylee's death and the rest is Casey's attempt to cover it up. But I could be so wrong! That's what keeps me riveted. Each day there is something to talk about - I've never seen anything like this. Thanks again for the welcome, Andy

That may be about to get much worse. Possibly as soon as Casey is bonded out. If that happens.

Cheesy....why not get a quiet bondsman then and put the focus on finding Caylee? Not asking that you would know or anyone has proof but asking as a rhetorical question.

Cases with intense press coverage, wild theories, and more time for the loons to come out of the woodwork with their "tips", more issues that could possibly be drug into the courtroom. I think LE not getting involved with managing the press is absolutely the best thing for them to do.

WOW! Amazing! You are soo good, so fast!
Thank you, LI MOM! :blowkiss:

Those comments speak volumns! The tone in that passage and the panic in Cindy's voice when she called 911 are so different than the demeaner she now has and has had since the case first broke to the media.

Remember how weird she was during that first interview with Greta?

Now (do I dare ask another?) when was it that the neighbor claims to have heard a loud argument between Casey and Cindy? :banghead:

Thanx again in advance!

Welcome, Deputy Andy!

According to Cindy: "Casey got a phone call (saying) 'Hi mommy' for just a brief second," Anthony said. "And when Casey said, 'Put an adult on the phone Caylee,' the phone went dead.'"
http://www.local6.com/news/16933286/detail.html

It seems very strange to me that if her daughter had called after being missing 31 days, she would not have asked her how she was or who had her or something. Well, anyway, I believe that phone call is pure fiction.

I believe it's pure fiction as well..but it's so slick how Casey, lie or not didn't give away her hand..she chose the words "PUT AN ADULT ON THE PHONE". So she inserted a lie into a lie...if Caylee was with Zanny than wouldn't she of said "PUT ZANNY on the phone" etc...it's just sad.

Also... why would Casey say "put an adult on the phone"??? Why wouldn't she say.. "Can you put Zenaida on the phone please"????

a) There is no benefit to Caylee being found to his Client, he knows she is deceased.
b) That would not force a rush to upgrade charges that would make them open to the discovery filing.
c) That would not generate enough press to hope to squeeze a plea from the DA
d) He has been to every BB in Fla, I want to say he has one in his office complex..
d) No other Bondsmen with the name PADILLA, same name as the PIO in OCSD who he openly called a liar on NG

THat's all I can think of

Padilla coming up on Dan Abrams MSNBC.

I really felt that this person was setting the Grund family up as fall guys. Again I wonder if there is any interaction good or bad btw the Anthony and Grund families.

Blink two quick questions:

1. What posts is everyone talking about?

2. I finally got on but there appears to be no thread #106..what happened?

OH, man!
Don't tell Blink, but Leonard Padilla is coming up on Verdict, MSNBC next.
He is definitely getting face time.

Well, my gut speaks your gut's language because I agree the same thing. I think the "sightings" are false as no one is going to look or research those "sightings" as well as they are called into Cindy's cellphone at night....As I said, I could be wrong too, and I hope so, because I want that little girl alive. Unfortunately, I don't think so. This is the first case I have been sooooo into because I can't fathom waiting over 30 days to report your child missing. Other missing children cases happen rapidly; this one has a lot of evidence missing or gone, too late. It keeps me up at night, neglecting my family  LOL I just want SOMETHING to break, SOMEONE to talk.

Just wait.

What I kind of took from him -- and it's difficult to follow, so I could be completely wrong -- is that it isn't the bondsman they're dealing with who is causing the problem; that some other bondsmen are "jealous" and don't have the family jewels to do it themselves so have found some snag in a statute to try to keep the transfer bond from happening; that it's some snag that is never used for others, but they are so jealous of Padilla that they brought it to the attention of the governing entity just to spite him and make his life difficult. So now Tony has to deal with this issue and get it worked out before the bond can be posted.

Makes my head spin......but does that sound right to anyone else?
