Regardless of this outcome hope casy understands that she will never ever be able to be with caylee at all, even if she is still alive! She is regardless what anyone says she is a unfit parent with mental issues and now poor caylee if still alive will have issues as well very sad for both out comes!

The very first thing that LE must establish is the last KNOWN location.

They attempted to do that with Casey and got nowhere!

About the Amber alert, I was a little surprised when someone posted the actual requirements the other day. I totally agree that it's intended to be an urgent call to action, to try to retrieve a child in those first few critical hours. It's also pretty specific, as to the required level of evidence that a kidnapping has occurred, need for a license plate/car description to disseminate, etc. This 30 day old, nebulous case didn't quite fit. BUT the known information available, such as pictures and descriptions of the missing child, has been equally widely made known, maybe even more widely. It seems LE did the functional equivalent with what they had to work with.

Seems to me that Lee’s trying to ask her why she would still have the one and only SIM card she claimed to have been using in both of her cell phones, since she lost the Blackjack while she was using it…but Casey’s answer, as usual, isn’t responsive…

"Lee: …Casey, if you, if you had your Blackjack with you and you lost your Blackjack, but you still have your SIM card in your other phone, is that, I, I’m just trying just to figure out why you would have the, why you wouldn’t lose both, if you know what I mean?

Picture this.......

Casey is released after her hearing on Thursday, between 3 and 4 pm.

Goes home with her GPS ankle transmitter and her female escort.

Once she gets home.... the "secret" voice transmitter (in the bracelet) begins sending her every word to the eager monitors.

Oh Sarge, that would be priceless. But would it be legal? I wish!

I personally don't think if she spills in that house, that anyone there is going to go running to the LE with the details. If I had to bet, I would say maybe Lee might be the most likely. I doubt Mom or Dad would, but only because of the way they have conducted themselves in the past few weeks.

I had much more sympathy for them in the beginning, after the 911 call, and would have given them credit for wanting to solve the case. That is, until they opened their mouths to the media.

Poor Caylee never had a chance with this family.

((((Blink))))) It is hard to think positive when the negative is the answer, isn't it? I just have to keep telling myself that Caylee is going to surface...in spite of the worst case scenario.

I try to remind people of that as well as myself when working on these cases.. There is no payoff here, putting a freak in the slammer is not a jubilent event to offset finding a baby's remains. It's all horrifying.

I am just hopeful that everyone that is so enthralled with Caylee's case will take the time at the end of the road to take stock in the lessons that were learned from it.

I would just like to go on the record here and say that I'm really tired of people complaining that Caylee is being ignored.

I just want to say that I think in most cases, people throw that phrase out mostly as a sarcastic response to Cindy's own ranting about how the media only concentrates on Casey.... while SHE concentrated her efforts on defending Casey's crazy lies to the media.

Back tracking to the lead detective's visit yesterday evening... they arrived at approx. 7:20 and stayed for approx. 45 minutes. Once the visit was over they returned their car and seemed to be pleased (smiling) with their visit. Now could they have been delivering information concerning the DNA/Decomp in the car or a possible connection with the last articles found in the woods? The lead detective wouldn't just stop by to check the phone line and go over what would happen once Casey was released. He would send someone else. What caused the visit?

Interesting comment. Should the grand parents have custody of Caylee IF she's ever found. I hope I hear a big resounding NO!

Dang it - I lost my post cause the thread closed! Here we go again:

I think that LE have the preliminary tests back and they know what kind of case they are looking at - for now it's a missing child case. However, they said that the prelims aren't admissable in court so they can't bank on using this as evidence to move forward with additional charges. Until the actual forensics tests are received, I don't think we'll see additional charges. JMHO

I hope and pray that LE has more information than what some think they do. I think they are gathering the needed evidence and are playing this close to their vest - as they should - so as to not have any holes to fill in later. The last thing a Prosecutor wants to do is lose this case (if there ever is one) because of sloppy investigating.

I would love to be on the inside of this too. The suspense is killing me. My husband tells me that I'm nosey, but I tell him I'm just very curious. :crazy:

Okay, I have a dumb question.... What is the major difference between preliminary test and the actual forensics? Is it the difference between JV and varsity so to speak? Prelim tests aren't admissable in court because the testing isn't quite done yet? :waitasec:

My answer is anywhere and everywhere instead of nowhere.

The group of volunteers here took a few key spots and searched. Why isn't this being done by LE? The only answer I can come up with is because they know something we don't and so that's why they aren't searching. But then it begs the question, IMO, that why did they come and even bother gathering the evidence that the volunteer searchers (who are absolute ANGELS and we can not thank them enough, btw!) found if they already have the 'answers'?

1. Where is Caylee’s car seat? Why this bothers me, I don‘t know. If you have the intention to pick up your child @ 5 pm, like Casey has said, why would the make believe nanny have it?
2. After watching video of the bond hearing, how could Cindy not know that Casey didn’t have a job…..who provided health insurance on Caylee?
3. How could George remember to a “T” what Casey and Caylee were wearing on June 16th? How many men can remember what their daughter wore? I can’t even remember what I wore yesterday.
4. What does IIRC stand for?

2. Not many people have figured out how Cindy could not know Casey's job status.
3. George has remembered the same outfits for 3 dates that I can count.
