I know this, if my daughter had done this, then she would be lost to me whether in jail or out.......but everyone's different I guess.
I know many many people whose warning motto is, you do the crime you do the time. Don't call me for bail.

You know I go back and forth on this. Initially, I thought she was setting something up. Then, I thought it was to get her daughter to lead her to Caylee. But, I've listened to the mother's words and my gut reacts. For instance, when she's discussing Caylee missing with Casey on the phone...and Casey asks her (incredulously) "You don't know my involvement?" and her mother responds "No, sweatheart. I don't know." There's something about that which doesn't ring true for me. I wonder if we will ever learn the whole story of this sordid mess.

I took "You don't know of my involvement?" to be anger at Cindy for even considering that Casey might have some involvement in whatever happened to Caylee. Casey expected Cindy to support her completely and without question, especially to the public.

I think Cindy really was totally fed up and fully intended to turn Casey in for stealing the money and the car AND she wanted Casey to produce Caylee. Once it was verified that Caylee was truly missing and had been for a month, Cindy felt sucker punched. I don't think she ever really entertained the thought that anything was going on other than Casey being a brat and keeping Caylee from her as some sort of punishment.

Nice, but they get to read this also.

Of course they do. But WE theorize and opine about most everything and much of it is our own speculation and they don't know who any of us are. For all they know Casey's 'escort' to and fro right now Rob is on here as well, only not posting as himself, and he could be saying something totally different.

I just think that there is the possibility of there being a 'method to the madness' of what he may be doing. Then again, maybe he's being totally sincere. And, then again, he could be totally snowed.

But I do think the fact that he's one of the very few people involved in this case that's publically speaking out (short of the Anthony's and LP and periodic LE) that his ability to speak freely while still trying to accomplish certain means is a little different.

Anyway, that was just MY speculation :)

It may have been explained to Cindy that if TES could look and not find anything, then it will get everyone off the family's back. It would be proof that the girl was taken, not dumped.

Since it is so very slow now, can someone tell me if George has been absent lately or have I missed him? I haven't been able to be on much, or watch much tv. Few minutes couple times a day. Thank you so much for the kindness

But doesn't TES generally search for bodies? Cindy wasn't going there at that point, and wonder that she is now? Denial seems to be cracking maybe?

I'm not really sure she's ::really:: going there still.

Besides, public opinion wasn't going in their favor and I think they were aware of the increasing questions, the 400 pages coming out coincided directly with this, and, I think the tone on our board reflected that that also increased questions about what they knew when.

Add that to the fact that she'd been harping on everyone to get off their behinds and search, while they weren't visibly doing much, they may have caved to pressure. ESpecially if LP was cluing in that Casey wasn't going to cooperate.

And hey, Cindy's said there's "no evidence"...maybe she's confident it'll turn up nothing.

My children are grown now but I can honestly say that my mother never met any of their baby sitters or day care providers. My understanding is that it was only rarely that Caylee was left with the imaginary Zanny, only on those rare occasions when Cindy or George didn't watch her. I don't know that it's factual to say that Cindy was hypersensitive to Casey's doings. She didn't realize Casey was 7 months pregnant.
Oh, I have a story about that...but for another day. I should have been more specific. I think she definitely was hypersensitive for that very reason (if I believe her) and others. You trusted your children I imagine. When your kids repeatedly betray your trust you are always on alert. JMHO.

TP said he was back to work.

He's not really been around. TP seemed to indicate he's working again. Might be nice timing not to be around with C/C and the reported tension in the house.

He's working (according to TP)

Totally agree. I think she thought Casey was punishing her for threatening to get custody. And, Tony has actually been around cindy, and we have not, (I'm assuming), so I am willing to accept his take on her. If he didn't want to answer that, he wouldn't have!

I imagine she is also blaming herself.

So sad it really is.
