There would indeed be charges, and serious ones no doubt, false reporting, if someone was hiding this little child. I know if I did something that like that to MY mom, I would be running from HER first and the police second!

I, like many others, want to believe that Caylee is alive and hidden away somewhere. However, when I try to think of a scenario that would support this theory, I come back to the fact that Casey covered up her loss of a job for almost 2 years and included the mysterious Zanny the Nanny for over one year. This means that she did not just stumble on this name sometime in June this year. Casey came up with this name some time ago. That makes my stomach hurt.

If she did leave Caylee with someone, then she was lying when she told the police that she was kidnapped. That, at the least, is a crime.

I'll go one step further....

Casey is 22 years old - and she's Caylee's mother with all the rights therein. If she left Caylee with someone and didn't come back , one would think the babysitter would be freaking where IS Casey and could potentially have walked into any police station and reported the child abandoned to get Casey in trouble with the law,too.

If Casey and someone else conspired to keep Caylee from Cindy, what law has been broken? Casey has every right to leave her child with whomever she wants and doesn't have to tell anyone. It's her kid. I think the attitude of the cops further give Casey cause, in her own mind, to continue this charade. jmo

Her friends are tired of being prisoners in their houses and being chased into bathrooms.

I am also almost certain you can not conspire to such a thing. A legal agreement would have to be reached or you have broken a law.

If Casey hadn't been lying repeatedly, it could be a possibility, however, she lied to her parents that she had a job when in fact SHE DID NOT. This is a woman who lied when she didn't have to. I don't think for an instant she left that child with anyone. She is the last one that saw Caylee and she is the ONLY one who knows where Caylee is. I just don't see any other scenario based on THE FACTS.

You brink up some very good points! I know most people who do work on their own cars are certainly more likely to keep chucks in the garage rather than the trunk of a car. And, chucks are usually used to prevent a car from rolling forward.

Do you have a link for a website to check license plate numbers?

When I came up with this idea I typed in "License Plate"+"lookup"+"Florida" - there were several resources - including the Florida DMV database.

It just doesn't make sense that she would try to acquire the name of a person that signed in as a visitor - that would not advance her story, she must have thought that she lived there.

The thing that is troubling is that why didn't the parents notice for years that money wasn't coming in?

If I was living at home with my mom and dad and had a "job" -- I would try to help out with finances as best as I could -- especially with my child's needs.

Just seems like this manipulation from Casey has been going on for years -- as it seems to be going on right now from her jail cell.

Have you read the affidavit thread? If not, you might want to, IMO. Many of the original info. came from her friends calling LE voluntarily to give statements - none of which were too supportive.

I dunno... I have a feeling that there was no money coming from her. She was stealing gas, money, etc. from her parents.

I am wondering if Casey had anything to do with the break in of ZG which happened on the 10th of June, and that is how she got a hold of the name ZG. Somehow I beleive Casey moved out of the house on the 9th of June . Why was the 06/09 so often mentioned before there had to be a reason.

The thing that keeps me up at night is the ZFG name and the connection to June 17th at the Sawgrass apartments. It is not simply a coincidence.

The way that she KNOWS the exact spelling is strange - it's not like she was writing her checks every week.

Did you know that you can go online and find the owner of a car with just their license plate number?

Have any of you ever lived in an apartment complex? Many residents take their trash to the dumpster on or in their trunk. Taking trash out of your trunk and placing it in an apartment complex dumpster would not be suspicious.

If she SAW a Hispanic woman walking out of apartment 210 on the 17th she would only need to get her license plate number and then get online at the nearest library.

The problem is that this woman DID NOT actually ever live there.

The parents are the only people backing up the story about knowing the name Zanny - and smelling the car as late as the 24th.

Also the George's story about the wheel chucks in the trunk makes no sense. Why would he keep tools in the car that his daughter used? Why wouldn't he use jack stands to rotate the tires? You need to have both the front and rear of the car on opposite sides off the ground at the same time to rotate tires.

Please direct us to a site where we can enter a license plate number and get the owner's info. Thanks.

So....George and Cindy are now keeping gifts sent by well wishers? After he threw out a big trash bag full of them, I'd sure think twice before I would send anything! Maybe a donation in her name to a charity.....

No doubt they are feeling really badly today of all days so far...and a gift on her B-Day she can't receive, well, perhaps it indicates a new stage of grieving setting in, as was discussed in thread 64-ish...??? I'm wondering if Cindy or George might finally have the "Come to Jesus" talk with her once and for all...
