pardon me, O/T but, does anyone recall, did they arrest Peterson before or after the bodies washed up?

THe Craigslist posting would tie in with what I have speculated on about "illegitimate income". I still say Casey had to have money coming in somehow.
We discussed this a long ways back. There is just no way to determine whether the guy who posted this is legit. And I doubt Caylee ever had a job of any kind. The girl is too pretentious and thinks she's too good for work. Let along be a drug dealer, stripper or hooker.
While DNA evidence will help answer some questions in this case -- it doesn't prove pre-meditated murder.
I believe the police believe she probably drowned in the pool as a result of some sort of neglect. (This is from WFTV.com)
If they believe she drowned -- then it would probably be considered an accident. They can't really charge her with murder for this unless they get some better evidence (This is my opinion)
I still think pushing a car into a lake is a pretty dangerous thing, and hard to explain to the person who comes to pick you up. Parking lot/dead car is much more normal and easy and ready to hand.
I agree and I think we are all giving Casey WAY too much credit here... I personally don't think she is that smart.. I think she made up the whole story on the go while being confronted. She is probably like another Scott Peterson who never thought it would blow into such a huge deal. She probably figured mom and pop would go along with her story and "investigation" and not press her much.
I still can't get over the 911 call where Casey says to her mom "just give me one more day" and Cindy says "No, I've given you a month"... What did Cindy give her a month for??? To do what???
I too think something was going on otherwise how did she pay for the partying etc. I tend to not think escort only b/c it didn't seem like she was living such a lavish lifestyle. The brands of clothes that were taken through the Search Warrant alone show that..I mean she had a George brand which is WALMART..MOSSIMO...which is Target. The other brands were very normal..nothing out of the ordinary as far as cost goes.
It's not like she was sporting expensive clothing and she seems very hung up on her appearance..changing hair styles etc. JMO...
i don't know if this is against the rules...but there's someone with a myspace out there..I think it's under desdemonna or something from Texas...she has everything lined up timeline and all with awesome stuff on it about this case...I think she tried to join this site once...don't know if she ever did though...everyone should check her out
She did. The money Cindy was giving her for the make-believe nanny.
JMHO
I'm not in disagreement. Frankly, I don't think she's all that bright, but then again, why wouldn't she just sink it herself if she really wanted it to disappear? I'm really leaning towards believing that she wasn't sure what to do with it, was freaking out about her daughter, knew she couldn't call her parents, knew she couldn't take the car home (possibly having to face her parents,) so she left it there and thought she'd go back later to deal with it - I guess a similar rationale to what many WSers think she did with Caylee's body (if she is even deceased and was ever first in the Anthony's back yard, then later moved to a final resting place.) PRoblem was that it got towed before she could figure out what to do with it... again, why would she leave the exact pants in the seat that were (if some WSers thoughts are correct,) smelling like decomp??? What do you think of this?
Ok thanks. Wow this thread goes fast. While you are typing, ten more people have posted! LOL. I am trying to tie down the dates myself. Not doubting anyone...just trying to reconcile discrepancies I have read!
It still doesn't make sense to me that she would be worried about washing the pants before finding Casey. Especially if the car smelled like a dead body! What if Casey had died in there? I could wrap my head around her washing them before LE looked at the car though. But this family does alot of strange things so who knows!
Think simple....maybe it really did run out of gas & that not really where she intended to leave it......that's also why she had to call Tony for a ride.

Yes it could, but I was saying it would have been more tramatic to be raped and maybe she could have associated Caylee with that experience.
