Caylee is alive - the defense theory

I simply can't follow the warped, sad frame of mind this family is in. Are they desparate to protect KC's image, theirs, or do they think we'll buy it? I know they are heartbroken, but this just seems very unhealthy and I think anyone who is enabling this thought process that Caylee is alive should be 1) disbarred (assuming the lawyers are involved); 2) lose their medical license (if their therapist/psychiatrist is allowing them to delude themselves; 3) lose their PI license if they are using this family to further their career instead of finding the TRUTH; 4) lose their credibility if they are friends/supposed friends who are not helping them face the TRUTH. I have always felt bad for this family seemingly so alone in this nightmare of their own creation; however, I'm not sure how alone they really are. Their appears to be numerous people in their lives now directing them. It is just more of a tragedy to hear this kind of talk. They just keep dishonoring Caylee. HOW IS SHE TO REST IN PEACE WHEN HER OWN FAMILY DOESN'T ACKNOWLEDGE HER DEATH NOW?

Can the defense really use this as a reason KC didn't murder Caylee? Will they be able to attack the prosecution's evidence and convince a jury that Caylee isn't dead? Or is this just Anthony fantasyland?

In the depos released today, October 15th, all of them state they feel Caylee is still alive.

This group of high profile attorneys came up with this defense??????????? Yikes! Is this the best that they can do? And one of the attorneys are married to a Forensic Specialist? Are they trying to present DNA evidence as "Junk Science"? This is just beyond ridiculous.

Do they think we're stupid? I mean...seriously...do they actually think jurors will buy the "Caylee is Alive" theory? Let me say first off that I would love nothing more than for this to be true. I would love to think Caylee is alive & well somewhere but the A's need to face the facts. They have made so many statements that totally contradict that Caylee is alive. Would they really want to open themselves and say this in court only to be shredded by the SA? Do they really want to say that the ashes that they are carrying around are those of another child? Puh-leaze! Baez better rethink this strategy if this is what he is going for.

I noted that the Anthonys, Cindy, George, and Lee, all believe Caylee is still alive. This goes along with Cindy's statement that forensic evidence is "junk science", which is Cindy's way of dismissing anything that doesn't support her fantasy belief that Casey is "mother of the year" material and Caylee was kidnapped by a non-existent nanny and is still alive.

But for the defense to try to argue that the remains found on Suburban weren't the remains of Caylee Anthony, flies in the face of logic and evidence. First and foremost, there's a DNA match to Caylee. Secondly, what jury would believe that the remains of a child found around the corner from the Anthony home and found with an abundance of items from the Anthony home, including Caylee's clothing, wasn't Caylee? What other child, age 2+ was/is missing from Orlando? If the defense takes the position that the remains found weren't the remains of Caylee Anthony, they'd quickly become the laughing stock of the legal profession.

The memorial service was never about Caylee, it was all about shoring up the Anthony image and promoting Casey as an innocent victim. George using the memorial service to ask attendees to write to Casey and give her support, is testimony to that.

Cindy, making the decision to cremate Caylee's remains and over-riding Casey's desire that Caylee's remains be buried, was Cindy way of exerting control over Casey and having the last word. It was probably the last measure of control Cindy will ever have over Casey.

I can understand the hurt they feel in their heart about losing their grandchild and the fact that their daughter will never leave prison a free woman, but when the truth actually does sink in, they will be sanitarium bound if they continue down this path of UNREALITY.

Sometimes the "most common" people have the most common sense. Casey will be convicted with little deliberation and her parents and brother and attorneys are in for a rude awakening if they continue with this preposterous defense of Casey not killing Caylee.

Mark my words. This is not 17 yrs. ago and O.J. DNA was relatively new and novel then and the general population wasn't very savvy about it. Almost 2 decades later and you would be surprised how most people have a basic understanding of it. To try to blame it on junk science is going to backfire on them in the most destructive way possible. Their perfect daughter, mother to Caylee WILL NEVER LEAVE PRISON ALIVE OR A FREE WOMAN.

I don't think the Anthonys believe for a nanosecond that Caylee is alive. This is just more backpedalling spin to (thanks again, Valhall) KERFLUNKEL the opposition. This is yet another lame-o attempt to manage perception that is bound to backfire, like the "z" in Gonzalez, "Zanny's" white dog, and (it would now appear) GA's implication that the Henkel duct tape was placed on the gas can by SOD or LE, because he and KC could not have done it (because it wasn't applied neatly enough).

It is so strange that after all this time,the most disgusting and unemotional statement made by Cindy at the memorial, "GOOD-BY CAYLEE MARIE" still makes me sick. This memorial was not for their granddaughter it was a smirk at everyone..Lee's statements were not to little Caylee but to little sis.."I hope I make you proud"....how could he make Caylee proud? But keeping the "faith" with Casey, that would make her proud. "We are united"...how? you just lost a child...
CA and GA had 2 private detectives, a couple of attorneys, friends, and never once asked anyone to find out where their daughter was working??? Crazy best describes the whole group.
Baez can't even present a proper document, the state tears him a new ah every time he presents something. That is the only thing I find laughable about this case.
I want her to face lethal injection...maybe she will then tell the truth... Baez can figure some BOOK deal for her so he can get his legal fees paid..and go far away as I believe his dealings in this case will make anyone think twice about hiring him as their attorney.

Oh My Sweet Lord...this is the absolute best theory I've heard... it scares me...you know Baez...NG ..CA and a lot of other sources read this site...
I pray that the unknown fingerprint in no way links JG or AL ,RCto this .. that would be way to freaky !! You should copy write this theory, because I think I'd use it,(if I was Baez) cause Caylee still being alive,and Casey paying for all of Caylee's needs isn't going to fly.

FWIW - on another forum a poster who said they worked at the funeral home where Caylee's remains were sent (and seemed to know a lot about it) said that the remains were not cremated (this was at the end of December) but crushed. She said that in cases where the remains are completely skeletonized, or if the amount of remains recovered is small, and particularly for small children, this is often the case.

Incidentally, although no one believed her on this forum at the time, several things she said later turned out to be true (ie: that the defense had flown down a forensic expert to look at the remains around the holidays and that the remains had been released to the family earlier than the public was made aware of).

You know until I read your post I hadn't thought about this... but since Caylee was skeletonized, could she even be what we think of as 'cremated' anyway? Someone (that should know) told me once that bones didn't burn, I wonder if that's true? If it is then that answers that question. hmmm..

If Lee and Mallory were to marry and have children... How in the world would they let the little ones spend the night at Grammy and Grampys (if KC were to get out)!!!
