I will try to find the links, I've been speed reading.

Am I to understand that someone in the AG's office has viewed pics recovered from Josh's computer and found them very disturbing, enough to make today's recommendations. And WVCPD has those pictures under seal for their investigation of the murder of Susan? I really want to know the content of those pics.

Maybe some really graphic homosexual *advertiser censored*? Bondage? If child *advertiser censored*, he'd be in jail like his daddy. Curious, just because I think so many people with children explore *advertiser censored*...how can they use that against him?

There was also discussion Wednesday about some kind of images that were found on a computer that was taken from his West Valley home in 2009. Attorneys said the images are part of an ongoing criminal investigation in Utah.

Powell's attorney said that the while the images may be tasteless, they are not illegal. No one during the hearing, however, described what kind of images were being discussed. Powell indicated he had never seen the images that prosecutors were talking about. His attorney questioned how investigators even knew the images belonged to his client

I think, based on my unprofessional training, that the images, whatever they are, requires the need to find out what floats Josh's boat sexually and pertains to both the custody of the boys and the murder of Susan. Could be Susan found out about something and was going to out Josh and he couldn't let that happen.

I think the poly is regarding whether he is telling the truth about not knowing about or participating in his dads hobby. And this would relate directly to the custody of the boys.

Regarding the images, West valley City Police released a statement saying:

"The West Valley City Police Department is aware of the current child custody matter in the State of Washington involving Joshua Powell and his two children. During the course of the investigation into the disappearance of Susan Cox Powell, the wife of Joshua Powell and mother of their two children, the West Valley City Police Department discovered information specifically related to their children’s welfare. This information was provided to authorities in the State of Washington."

Just like the "new evidence" WVCPD found in the desert.....I'm skeptical now with anything they say, tbh. How can a bumbilng idiot get away with disappearing his wife? ?? Granted they need to know if JP knew about the kiddie *advertiser censored* SP harbored and manufactured, but why didn't they request this evaluation and polygraph from the get go? I think it may be a slow process of putting pressure on JP.

I'm now annoyed with the police in Utah. Susan has been gone far too long, and I find it hard to believe that there is NOTHING on those computers or in things recovered from the house that would indicate JP's favorite places, camping spots, childhood-family vacations, etc. I wish that people who know or knew the Powells would start crowd-sourcing a website for information about likely places where they were known to go. Why don't we have a list of JP's real estate listings during the time he worked at that? More than likely, one of them has a vacant lot nearby, or a forest, or a culvert, or somewhere that would be likely to search.

She wasn't accidently left somewhere. She is somewhere related to a place that had been scoped out prior to her killing (IMHO it was a premeditated poisoning), or somewhere her killer was comfortable going. Either the place was scoped out beforehand, or the person who drove her there had a good sense that even though the weather was bad, they would still be able to get there, dump her, and get back.

It is increasingly hard for me to believe that there are no clues in family photos or other photos on the computer, and I believe if the public were appealed to in more detail, that the Utah police would swiftly get fresh clues that would find her body and solve this case.

When I asked her if she was surprised she said, "It's not completely shocking." And because of what has happened with her father, Steve Powell, and the accusations surrounding child *advertiser censored* - she is not surprised that the information came out in court. Susan Powell's friend Kiirsi Hellewell says she was surprised. But is certainly glad that it is being addressed and evaluations are being ordered. "If the judge ordered that and the doctor ordered that they must have a good reason."

Bassett accused Utah investigators of "playing puppet master with the state of Washington" by dangling an alleged piece of evidence in front of the court to keep Powell's children away from him, even though no one had seen such evidence.


"Why haven't they arrested my client? It certainly would be an extraditable offense," he said of the disputed images.


Later, Bassett conceded the images might be in "bad taste," but said he does not believe they are illegal.

Josh Powell will continue to have two three-hour supervised visits with his boys each week. Another dependence hearing was scheduled for July 26. The court reaffirmed Wednesday that its ultimate goal is to reunite Powell with his children.

They know exactly what is on the computer hard drive, IMHO that is why he ran to daddy [birds of a feather, no offense to birds]. He has been given more than enough rope.

Some of the pics were taken in the International Peace Gardens in Salt Lake City; when I first saw the pics I recognized the backgrounds immediately. It is a lovely, family oriented park with a lot of activity. There are soccer games, softball games and lots of people taking pictures, including wedding pictures there. There are no gates that close at night but there are curfew times and I don't remember if it is 10 or 11pm. There are patrols there at night.
