Am I missing something here, or is there any clear evidence that Casey, Mother-of-the-Year Anthony was the initial story-line creator? It seems to me that way back in the beginning, Cindy was the only one putting out the conspiracy, kidnapping, blah blah blah stories while Casey was incomunicada in jail. Didn't she first come up with these scenarios, attributed to conversations with Casey, before she realized that the conversations were taped and would disprove her statements as to the subject matter and nature of their conversations?

Yep........you are SO correct that SHE put out that story.

SHE can take full credit for that needle - Won't she be proud she set up the story which set up KC for the death penalty?

Newbie at posting, but I've been lurking since this case broke. Guess it's because I live so close to this tragedy and my son is KC's age and has friends that attend FS.

What bugs me is that Jennifer Kesse's 2006 poster still hangs less than a mile from my home. I pass at least three other Kesse posters on my way to work. I have yet to see one Missing Child poster while out driving. There is one small poster at the Subway shop, but you have to go inside to see it.

If not for the media attention, I would have never known about this case . We (in the Orlando area) have been saturated with news of KC since July, but I see very little advertising for the missing child. WHY? GA's billboard has not been seen in this area. I've asked around, and believe it or not, there are ostriches in Orlando that have not heard anything about Caylee. They are either students too caught up in school, or adults that don't watch TV or don't have time to read the newspapers.

My son lives in the Universal Studio area and has not seen a missing child poster. He goes to class out by the A's home and has seen very few posters on campus. I am only 1 county over so why are there not missing child posters plastered on every moving bus? Every billboard? Every local government website? Kesse's posters are still on park benches, on power poles and boxes, on the cable boxes and that case happened even further away.

Something is wrong and I just can't put my finger on it....
A's, where are all the volunteers plastering these pictures in every corner of every space until this child is found??????

I understand their denial. They have PI's saying they're close to finding her and likely giving them tidbits of info that keep their hope alive. Casey continues to say she didn't kill her and JB is probably telling them LE doesn't have what they insinuate they have.
If I were Caylee's GP's I would lean towards the side that tells me she's alive too.

It's simple, let LE put them out of their misery and show them the definitive proof that Caylee's dead. Let an FBI forensic's guy explain the evidence and how it proves she's dead.

I would need that. I would wonder why they didn't just charge her with murder instead of doing it in a 'secret' grand jury meeting that I couldn't be in. I would wonder why the police raided a home on a Caylee 'tip' after they said she was likely dead. I would wonder why they would say on TV that the evidence indicates she's dead but they don't say what tests or what they revealed. And I would talk to my daughter, liar or not and try to verify whatever she told me.
And I wouldn't care who was condemning me for believing she was alive if there was a 1% chance that she were alive.
I know the evidence indicates and she probably is dead, but can't believe it 100% until I hear the facts on the forensic evidence.

If their evidence is that strong, it shouldn't hurt to put it out there along with everything else they've thrown out there.

Chicana, for all we know LE has given them evidence and they just wont accept it. I don't know if this has happened but CA keeps refferring to that tiny possibility, LE might have said it's 99.99 percent but nothing is 100 percent and that would be a correct statement. CA has said that she will cling to that .01 possibility. She made the reference in the TODAY interview thqat LE had given her evidence weeks ago and she asked, "is this 100%" and they said, "well nothing's 100%." GA and CA know that with forensics that's as good as it gets.
As far as the GJ goes, it's so much more damning to be indicted by a grand jury than simply charged by a DA. A GJ is secret because it's all part of the prosecution's case. The defense isn't privy to it, but it takes the whole jury to decide by vote whether or not to indite. It's so much more damning than if one man had made this decision.
There isn't a 1% chance that she's alive, at most there's a .01 chance and combined with other evidence that we are not privy to I doubt that a jury will have a difficult time convicting if a GJ only took a half hour to indite.
I think it's important for parents to hold their children accountable and it' also important for society at large to hold it's members accountable.
I don't think anyone is condemning you, I think we're frustrated that C and G are lying on national tv in an effort to garner sympathy foor "poor KC". Who we believe is a monster who murdered her beautiful baby so that she could be free, when she could have just given her to CA and walked away.

I know that's my frustration, CA would have taken her, I'm not going to speculate on whether or not CA would have done a good job, I know she wouldn't have "lost" her and not reported it for 31 days.

You should read up on denial....you don't seem to understand it.

Hi, Linda...I think the denial they're experiencing is not denial over Caylee's death at this point. I think the denial is due to not being able to face that Casey really did such a horrible thing...they just can't believe it of her. Once they admit Caylee is dead, they then have to face the ugly, harsh truth about Casey, and they just can't. They also can't face the feelings of guilt (whether rational or not) that they should've done more to clamp down on Casey all along, that they should've taken custody of Caylee, should've never let Casey leave with her....all the "if only" thoughts must be torturous and nearly impossible to face as well.

They're trying to hold on to a shred of their former life, before they learned how devious and horrible Casey truly is, before they realized what they're gonna have to live with the rest of their lives. They want it not to be true, it just can't be...therefore, they are trying to make it okay, to salvage something, anything. So until they can face that Casey really did harm Caylee, they will keep saying she's alive, even though they likely know more than we do about things and likely have known, IMO, since early on that Caylee will never come home alive.

They aggravate the hell out of me with all their lying, but I do feel so terribly sorry for the loss of BOTH their grandbaby and their daughter, and for having to face a truth so gut-wrenching that it's just unimaginable to me. I think they have every right to be supportive of Casey, but they do not have carte blanche to lie to LE and the public in an attempt to help her evade justice, no matter how sorry we feel for them.

Just because Caylee isn't here any longer doesn't mean she doesn't count. Casey had a choice. Caylee didn't. While I understand the A's dilemma and fully expect them to support Casey, they have gone too far with it. They can support Casey without telling lies and spinning things in an effort to thwart justice for Caylee. At some point the truth has to matter, for Caylee's sake. It hurts to see her own family forsaking her this way. I think that's what upsets a lot of people (I know it does me).

George may accept things eventually, once a trial actually proves what Casey has done. But Cindy...Cindy Anthony will never, ever admit or accept that Casey harmed Caylee. Even after she's convicted. Not only would that mean she'd have to face all the pain of this horribly tragic hell Casey has relegated her to...but, frankly, she'd see it as a reflection on her, and she is the type that just can't have that, IMO.

I can just about guarantee that she will go to her grave swearing that Casey is innocent. Other than Caylee, Cindy is gonna be the biggest casualty of Casey...for all the rest of her life. What are your thoughts in that regard?

Umm.. Probably because the poster hangers may be sitting under a canopy selling t-shirts and wrist bands that were donated?

It was highly disturbing to me to hear Cindy say she saw no reason to hang a poster at Sawgrass Apartments. That was SUPPOSEDLY the last place Caylee was seen but they didn't put a single poster up there.

That was a direct result of KC saying she would be home, just like KC set up times for her mom to meet Caylee places long after 6-16. If these weren't well planned acts of cruelty I don't know what is.

That is very interesting. We had a large group from here down there for a week on a working retreat and none of them saw any posters but I just assumed they were in the tourist areas and they might not be posted there. One woman said she went to Walmart 3 times while she was there and if there was anything about Caylee , she did not see it.

The Grand Jury Indictment is necessary for a Capital Murder Case in Florida

The raided home on the Caylee tip was done before all forensic evidence was back and revealed that Caylee is dead.

The prosecutor is not going to let everyone see how much strong evidence he has until it is absolutely necessary. But enough evidence has shown Caylee is deceased. The sooner the GPs come to grips with the truth the better for all involved.

IMO, the PIs working for the Anthonys are giving them false hope for obvious reasons.

As for Casey's statements about not killing her daughter, well, she had an imaginary job and nanny for 2 years, nuff said.

JB naturally is going to say the state has no case, what do you expect him to say, "Hey everybody, my client killed her daughter but she is still innocent"?

NOPE! I believe Casey wants to divert the attention away from herself because the general public can depict apart each and every lie she tells. If she gets visitors, that is publicized and put under the scrutiny of the public eye. I personally find myself dissecting every word that drips from her lying lips.
