I think we are seeing more of the puzzle pieces falling into place. LE has known this. Many of us have been saying LE knows a lot more than we do.
I can't wait to see Ashton and Drane-Burdick pull this all together at trial.

Completely agree, Miss James. These bank statements, then add to that her felony convictions for fraud in re. Amy.... the timeline is sickening. Seems to me the jury is going to have a broad choice of motives. All of them proven to my satisfaction.

I'm trying to think of a good way to phrase this, and hope I make sense.
In the beginning GA and CA seemed to admit to LE that ICA was in some way responsible / covering up /hiding something. As time went on CA dug in. Soon even GA was backpedaling. ICA went from car thief to Mother of the Year.
It looks to me like, the more LE and the State found incriminating evidence , and built a case around ICA,the liar / thief / murderer ,the more vocal CA and GA became supporting her.
They knew ,and their various lawyers knew, what LE was finding. CA knew it would be obvious that ICA had been stealing from her.
What on earth would drive them to continue to dispute what is in black and white? Why not just keep quiet and let it play out? How dumb to imagine this would not lead to a conviction.
Now we know why CA could barely hold her head up at the hearing. And I'm sure she knows there's even more coming.
Six months to go. Will CA have a breakthrough and try to save herself? or will she commit perjury......again?

Welcome to WS qtrmlr!
You have just proven how valuable info can come from newbies! So glad you signed up and joined us! Thank you for opening my eyes to BOA practices that could have played a role in this whole fraudulent checking and stealing of friends and family members money. Anyone lurking that hasn't taken the "plunge" of signing up -please do so. (Honestly it isn't painful!) Just be sure to take a look at the Terms of Service (TOS).

Also Welcome Zambonizam!

The Walgreens purchases are bothering me. KC spent $364.69 between 2/23/08 and 3/11/08. (16 days) I realize how expensive Rx are, so on the surface that amount doesn't seem too shocking. However, I don't believe KC would have forged 5 different checks .... or even ONE for a prescription. She would have asked CA for something like that. A Rx would be a genuine NEED and I just don't think KC would hesitate to ask for that money. So what on earth can you buy at Walgreens that would make sense of spending over $364 during 16 days???

does it state where the walgreens is located? could it be that it is a walgreens close to a friend or boyfriends house that was just convenient to go to and close by?
and also wondering if the abrupt stopping of the checks in march coincide with the week she went with caylee to stay at RM place.

His diamond stud might make a heafty payment...

Does anyone think that was a real diamond and not some kind of man-made stone? It was mighty big and, if a real diamond, would cost quite a pretty penny... even with all the blood money they were receiving.

I have always had the thought it was not a real diamond, but then again, if it were... that would not surprise me either. I suppose it is one of those things we will never know. :waitasec:

Good question! It seems she could buy anything at Target that she could get at Walgreens so why go there as well? Besides prescriptions all I can think of is photo services. There's a lot of cool things you can do there with their digital equipment and then order prints. But $364 for photos would be really excessive, lol.

Hm. Just speculatin' here but let me pull a Baez, throw some ideas at the wall and see what sticks:

- beer (unless that's not so in FL?)
- makeup
- sundries/groceries/chips, soda, etc
- sunglasses
- cheap cigarettes
- disposable cameras
- cheap DVDs
- cheap t-shirts
- nail polish
- more beer

ETA--I see we are comparing Walgreen's with Target... two thoughts: is Walgreen's closer to TL's or something? or is the "easy cashier who never asks for ID" not working at Target on the days KC went to Walgreens? (It is hard to think so devious.)

ot but anyone notice how eerily similar ga and ica handwriting is?

I posted this a year and a half ago - taken from the computer forensics file. I thought it might be instructive to bring forward.

I guess because she did not work she needed to steal to cover these breath-taking cell phone bills:

7/29/2008 $167.50 Due
7/15/2008 $574.60
6/25/2008 $377.33
5/6/2008 $574.60
4/8/2008 $354.04
3/26/2008 $191.17
2/27/2008 $160.57
1/24/2008 $180.21
2008 total $2,580.02

12/4/2007 $814.00
9/24/2007 $497.75
7/24/2007 $414.11
5/25/2007 $372.82
4/3/2007 $417.47
2007 total $2,516.15
Seems to me there was not a family plan or texting plan in play.

Here are a few thoughts...makeup, perfume, a camera, or other electronics type items....does Walgreens sell cell phones?

Or Benadryl. :innocent: I'd be interested to know if she wrote one of these checks covering a prescription for Annie. I don't think she'd ask Cindy to cover THAT Rx.

I found another $564.06 in the last pages of the document that I hadn't added in previously. Looks like my amounts are really close to yours.

This list confirms what I have thought for a long time was how she was spending a lot of her time - shopping. And we haven't even seen Cindy's credit card receipts yet. Imagine getting those and putting it all together. We might have a fairly good paper trail on her day to day activities.
