Do you seriously believe that everyone who reads here also posts regularly?

Only a small percentage posts in each thread, compared to how many look in and read.
Right. Some of us were here at the beginning and popped in & out throughout the years, and have come back to see the denouement of these horrid murders. It's been over 9 years since the Mcstay case began - but today it feels like yesterday.

Confirmation bias is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's preexisting beliefs or hypotheses. It is a type of cognitive bias and a systematic error of inductive reasoning.

I hope this helps :)

Example: seeing 110 guilty votes, yet believing those results are impossible and must be duplicate voters.

Considering he loathed 98% of the family it’s no wonder he didn’t cry.

For somebody who hated the kids and hated the wife you wonder why he spent so much time at the McStay residence.
I know! Spent an awful lot of time with them when he had 3 children of his own. He even allegedly knew their night time habits. Joseph kept the window open, Joseph left the light on all night, Summer put Digger in the laundry room. What real man would even notice this stuff?
I bet LE could barely keep a straight face when he was interviewed. Maybe he didn't do this but he sure is a nosy old lady. :D
MOO.

And yet you was moaning that people wouldn’t have a proper debate with you. Yet you can not even answer a question that’s so simple to answer tsk.
Repeated commitment of fallacy of Diversion. The original issue was CM's crying or not crying. Is he supposed to cry? Either way, those committing the Confirmation Bias say it confirms his alleged guilt.

Why is it considered confirmation bias if we think he's guilty but it isn't confirmation bias for those who think he's not guilty? What's the difference?

I wish you had included a category for UNDECIDED...I am still on the fence--Not Sure if he's Guilty or Innocent based on the evidence presented by both the Defense and the Prosecution...

I am the same ;-) I can't vote either lol I said I would be in the fetal position in the corner not wanting to decide.

No matter what any of us may think or not think about Merritt I will say his daughter is a class act, in spite of what her upbringing may or may not have been. I give her credit for sitting with her head high in support of her father. Besides her there was only one other non media person sitting on the defense side of the courtroom. I wonder what happened with the rest of his family today?
