COLORADO — The trial for a man charged with killing a Sioux City woman in the 1980s starts Monday in Colorado.

70-year-old Allen Phillips was arrested in February of last year for the death of 21-year-old Annette Schnee and another woman in Colorado.
 
I have him in Park County & the court case #s are D472021CR15 for Bobbie's case & D472021CR16 for Annette. Not coming up with anything when I search just the case #s.

Anyone have a better search then me?

9/14/21 Update: The court was required to hold a proof-evident presumption-great hearing to keep Phillips in custody on 1st degree murder charges without granting bail. Denied the defense attorneys' request to release Phillips on bail. Judge has ordered that Phillips stand trial. Motions hearing set for 12/13/21.
8/28/22 Update: Per article trial starts on 8/29/22.

I found that a Jury trial did start today 8/29/22 and is scheduled to last until 9/23/22 in Park County Combined Courts Room B (Fairplay, CO?) with Stephen A Groome as the Judge residing over it.

Everything is listed as ''suppressed'' Not sure if that is why there is difficulty finding anything out? It's almost bizarre at this point that he doesn't show up under the dockets search AND ZERO MEDIA COVERAGE.

The lack of media coverage is very frustrating. I feel like there hasn't been much coverage on the Jonelle Matthews trial (another Colorado case), but there at least has been some, and 48 Hours is reporting on it.
