Scott Eicher is a retired FBI Special Agent that was assigned as a full-time (National Asset) member of the Cellular Analysis Survey Team (C.A.S.T) where he specialized in investigations that involved cellular technology. Prior to becoming a National Asset, Special Agent Eicher was assigned to a Violent Crimes Squad, known as the Rocky MountainSafe Streets Task Force, which is responsible for investigating Bank Robberies, Hobbs Act violations, Kidnappings, and violent fugitive cases. During the twenty-two years as a Special Agent, SA Eicher worked in the International Terrorism field for eight years and Violent Crime field for fourteen years. As part of Special Agent Eicher’s duties, both as a certified member of C.A.S.T. and investigating violent crime cases, SA Eicher has received extensive training specialized in cellular networks, and cellular phone related aspects of investigations. SA Eicher, through this training and “real life” cases and experience, has successfully used cellular telephone analysis (both historical and real-time) to locate violent fugitives, locate individuals in need of assistance, obtain previously undiscovered evidence, and historically show the locations of cell phones as they related to various crimes at trial. SA Eicher’s has qualified numerous times as an expert in Historical Cellular Analysis and his knowledge, analysis, and testimony have been used in Federal, State, and local cases and jurisdictions across the nation.
 
This phone testimony is fascinating. I’m missing a few parts here and there though. Did hear that Dylan’s last text in the area of his dad’s house was 8:07pm. He was texting his friend Ryan. Ryan texted at 8:08 and 9:56 (I think), but there were no more texts from Dylan after 8:07.

Dylan’s phone was roaming on the tower near his dad’s house (same tower covers the house and Middle Mountain Rd) from 8:01pm - 9:56pm. No more activity after that, which means phone was turned off, destroyed or ran out of battery.
