Any idea what happened with the restitution hearing that was supposed to happen today? It looks like it was removed from the docket.

I just saw that this morning - I tried finding "something" but came up empty... that's why I didn't post it today. I looked under his court documents & found nothing - looked on FB page - and nothing there as of this afternoon.

I believe a restitution hearing can be waived -- especially since at this point it seems more a formality.

I believe MW would have already lost his home and tractor/trailer (if he owned the same) to the bank, and the state would have claimed any equity to compensate for his defense. Most states provide for this if a defendant is convicted. MOO

Same facility where MR is located. Interesting. It's a fairly big facility.

Inmate found dead at a Colorado correctional facility, evidence suggests he was attacked

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - An investigation is underway after an inmate was found dead in Colorado.

The body was discovered Tuesday morning at the Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility.

“Staff found a male inmate lying on the floor of his cell with injuries suggestive of a serious assault,” part of a news release from the Interim Public Information Officer for the Colorado Department of Corrections reads. “Responding staff initiated life saving measures and the inmate was transported by ambulance to St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City where he was pronounced dead.”

The death is being treated as a suspected homicide as both the Inspector General and Fremont County Coroner investigate. The inmate was not publicly identified.

IMO, the tech/surveillance, etc. may not be the greatest at this facility.
