When LE says that they don't believe an SO is out there abducting children, it could mean that MR is their only POI. It could also mean that there haven't been reports of strangers attempting to lure children into their vehicles. (there were several of those preceding Jessica Ridgeway's abduction)
There's always the possibility that an SO saw an opportunity and took advantage of it.

For me that still does not cover the lack of his phone not being switched on in the morning .

It just makes no sense that phone was not at some point switched on.

AA has alonon and one for teens.
Maybe just maybe there had to be sobriety before visitation was allowed.

Having sex in your yard with ANYONE in the presence and view of your wife and children is more than just drunk. And violence against the children witnessing this event is ....unspeakable.

I'm not ready to write this off as merely erratic behavior.

That was when Mom last heard from him via cellphone. There was a lack of activity or phone was turned off after 8- which I think means he used his cell to text/talk to someone after Mom on Sunday evening.

I thought it was reported that the phone was turned off at 8, not that it was turned off after a call, but I could be wrong.

But the fact that he did not contact his friends with his phone or dad's landline on Monday morning is odd.

Just thinking. Maybe they didn't go to McDonald's. Why was there no video release of McDonald's. Most McDonald's have video cameras. If they went thru drive thru it's possible LE didn't find any left over wrappers etc. Perhaps MR told LE he threw them out on the way home??

Nick Redwine hasn’t slept well since hearing the news from his native state....

With the search efforts intensifying, Nick said the most difficult part is the scrutiny involving his estranged father, with whom he had a fragmented childhood.

“I’m trying to find out who my father is as I try to deal with the loss of a brother,” he said.

Nick added that when he was back home to help relatives coordinate the search, media requests and other issues with the case, he noticed how so many people came forward hoping to help his family with donations and prayers.

Totally agree with you here. I think there were very serious problems! I apologize for using the somewhat dismissive "erratic behavior" term, I didn't mean it to sound that way, just couldn't figure out how to describe it better and still can't.

I really do hope they got counseling, real counseling, at some point, or that they can now. Preferably when Dylan gets home. lease:

I cant see why... unless she is using iphone?? I think theres an app you need to download to open on your iphone.. could be wrong though..
