The Myrtle Beach Police Department and El Paso County Sheriffs Office were involved in an operation this morning that resulted in the arrest of Letecia Stauch in connection with the murder of her stepson Gannon Stauch. She was taken into custody without incident. Stauch will be held at our facility until bond hearings.

Hopefully extradited first.

If anything, I think it’s likely she was briefly detained while the arrest was being made. We saw this in the Frazee case, when everyone thought his mom was arrested as well, as she was in handcuffs.

I may have been one of them, I posted that someone with her mom's last name (Locklear) was arrested there today (though I wasn't the only one posting about that, here or elsewhere). Don't think it's related. Sorry! (The charges for that one turned out to be domestic violence, 3rd degree)

In CO, you can be charged with first degree without premeditation or intent. If she battered this sweet child with an extreme indifference to human life and he died as a result, that's 1st degree.

It’s coming from FB . There actually are 2 women with same last name as TS’s mother who really were arrested for DV. That part is verifiable, but I haven’t seen where it’s actually her sister (s). Someone joked that maybe T confessed to them and they whooped her a$$. ‍
Probably not supposed to be sleuthing her family anyways.

Sorry, I’m out of the loop here. I’ve heard about Gannon in the news and read a couple articles about his case, but didn’t really follow it. LE sounds very certain that he’s dead. The family too, so they must know something that’s damning enough convince them there’s no hope.

What do they have against the stepmom besides that she lied about the last time she sad him? Have they said they have physical evidence?
