Had the weirdest experience today...
I work in a store with a LOT of regular customers who often come in several times a day. One guy has a son, maybe 8/9 yo, who is possibly autistic/Asperger's/similar. The whole crew calls him "my buddy" when he comes in, or says "hey buddy"
Sometimes he chases us with his stuffed dinosaur, he always takes our "next register" signs and puts them all on one side of the counter. He usually likes to go barefoot. He's a sweet little kid. Ever so often he'll be having an obviously hard day, but usually so happy.
But today, I was just about to say "hey buddy" when I choked on my words. I suddenly thought of the last text AS sent to GS... "Hey Buddy"
Awww. *Hugs* I can't visit this thread without crying. I think about staying away, but I feel like I need to check in for sweet Gannon so he won't feel forgotten. I know that's weird. His great big, beautiful smile gets me EVERY DARN TIME.
