Well, there you have it!! Somehow she came to her senses and dropped it! My guess is she knew it was all lies and maybe he & the district were threatening to sue for defamation. What a........nevermind, she's not even worth my time to think of a word to describe her!

MOO JMO
Settlement agreement and release? Did she get a monetary or other award in return for dismissal?

Let's just hope Leticia won't claim her rights are violated by the court procedures.

While I understand (am guessing, anyway), that you were being sarcastic, I think we can fully expect Leticia to claim her rights are being violated at every opportunity she can.:rolleyes:

Heck, I will be surprised if she doesn't end up claiming she's been raped by one (or several) of the correction officers before she dies her lonely death serving a life sentence in prison for the murder of Gannon.

YES! THIS ^^^^^^. Guarantee she’ll claim she’s raped at some point while her ugly, lying @$$ is locked up! Old habits die hard! Give me 5 minutes with her, I’m even willing to do the time if I accidentally commit a crime against her..... Sweet Gannon deserves justice along with his family.

@crhedBngr Thank you for the daily treats! You’re a blessing!

Yes, I'll be shortening this up a bit! :)

Found Deceased - CO - Gannon Stauch, 11, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, 27 Jan 2020 **ARREST** #35

3/11/20 Update: Arraignment hearing. Discovery is > 1,000 pages already per DA. 107 search warrants as of last week per DA. Some in SC. The prosecution does not object to the unsealing of probable cause affidavit any longer. Prosecution stated it does not object to unsealing of arrest affidavit, and defense has filed a motion to keep it sealed. The judge seems inclined to make a ruling on that fairly soon. Status hearing on 4/14 @ 3pm related to search warrants in the case & will set preliminary hearing on that date. Judge: No extending media coverage for the next hearings due to CO. law. Was formally charged with 4 offenses. No plea entered. Prosecutors announced they have not ruled out the possibility of pursuing the death penalty in this case. The death penalty repeal measure passed recently will apply to those charged on or after July 1, 2020. Divorce hearing on 3/17.
3/17/20: Eugene "Al" Stauch has cited his son's killing as the reason for splitting with his wife in divorce documents. In the eight-page filing, the marriage is described as 'irretrievably broken' with Stauch noting that Letecia was 'in South Carolina awaiting extradition to Colorado charged with first degree murder of [his] son'. Stauch, a member of the Colorado National Guard, also demanded the couple's French Bulldog, Sadie, be immediately returned to him and said he had no intention of paying Letecia spousal support. Divorce: Initial Court appearance on 4/30.
3/17/20 Update: El Paso & Teller counties are postponing new trials and preparing to clear their dockets of all but “essential” matters through the end of March, the Pikes Peak Region’s top judge said Monday. Coats’ order — which remains in effect through April 3 — excludes new trials relating to “imminent speedy trial deadlines.” It’s unclear if that applies to any of the trials scheduled to begin this month in El Paso and Teller counties.
3/18/20 Update: On March 18, 2020, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office stating they responded to a call of a deceased juvenile male in Pace, Florida. A road construction worker (working for the FL. Dept. of Transportation) discovered the body (in a suitcase) around 9-10am on Tuesday, March 17th, just off Highway 90 near the Escambia River Bridge (Gannon was not in the water.) Link: Santa Rosa investigates body found near Escambia River Bridge
3/20/20 Update: New charges: 2 counts of 1st degree murder (after intent & deliberation), child abuse resulting in death, tampering with deceased human body, tampering with physical evidence, and 8 counts of crime of violence (firearm, blunt instrument, knife or sharp instrument and causing the death of Gannon). Next Status hearing on 4/14. 4/2/20: Arrest affidavit released to public.
4/3/20 Update: Order to Reschedule by Judge Gregory Werner: Status hearing on 4/14 has been vacated. Preliminary hearing on 6/5 & 6/8 (both @ 9am). During the June hearing, Judge Greg Werner will make a decision whether the evidence against Stauch is sufficient enough to presume a likely conviction against her on murder & related charges. If the judge agrees there is enough evidence, Stauch will remain behind bars without bond while awaiting trial. If the judge decides that the prosecution did not provide enough for evidence for presumed guilt, Stauch could become eligible for bond.

4/7/20 Update: Order: Proposed order for People's request for unsealing of interception of wire & electronic communications-granted. Sealed documents from 2/7/20, 2/10/20 & 3/19/20.
4/14/20 Update: Stauch's Motion for Hearing on Sanctions for Violation of Court Order (D-08) (gag order)-Denied. 4/16/20 Update: Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Ben Coats has extended the suspension of jury trials in Colorado until June 1, 2020, due to COVID-19.

5/12/20 Update: Defense files motion for continuance of preliminary hearing because she is unable to meet with her defense counsel due to the COVID-19 pandemic & restrictions at the Colorado Springs Criminal Justice Center. Also filed Motion for video access to client or bond for LS. Stauch’s next hearing is scheduled for June 5. However, the defense team requested an emergency hearing on the current motion, should the court deny the request. As of Monday, 5/18 all restriction in the jail were lifted.
5/19/20 Update: The Court GRANTS Stauch’s Motion to Continue Preliminary Hearing. While the Proof Evident Presumption Great & Preliminary Hearing are VACATED, the June 5, 2020 9:00 a.m. appearance date WILL REMAIN ON THE DOCKET and this matter will proceed to a status conference to determine the best method for proceeding forward in light of current conditions (COVID-19). No decision on motion concerning bond. Stauch's attorneys were told that if they wished to proceed with the other motion (the one alleging lack of access to Stauch and suggesting bond as a possible solution), they must be ready to present evidence at the status conference. COVID-19 court procedures: Only 12 people will be allowed inside the courtroom during the status conference, and only one of those will be a pool reporter for all four of our local stations. Others will be in the jury room watching on a livestream. Advisement hearing added for 6/4/20.

I'm confused, didn't she already have her advisement hearing for her charges in CO?

Is this just to discuss how the status conference will proceed & be handled due to C-19 and explain the judges order for the proceedings tomorrow?

Gannon is always on my mind. His smile, pics of him hugging LaiS, LH, AS, playing with cousins, holding his baby sis with absolute love in his eyes, playing, and just being a little boy! School is out and this is the time of year that he would head back to NC to spend the summer with LH and his grandparents. He should be doing that right now. He should be enjoying the fun of summer with his friends and family and loving on his Momma. Thinking about all of this just hit me so hard today. My heart is SO heavy and breaks thinking of everyone, especially his Mom, who is missing him!

Gannon, you are loved and missed by SO many!
