I guess “edge,” could mean the tailgate of a pickup, if it was down.It means wherever LE finds blood is where she meant “the edge” is. The hood? That’s the edge. The edge of the inside car seat? That’s what she meant. The bumpers? Yep, that’s an edge, sure nuff. The words given and the words omitted are always twistable and ambiguous. Almost like someone wants deniability built in.
Doctorate aside, this woman doesn’t appear to have a robust vocabulary, so there’s no telling what she was referring to.
