It means wherever LE finds blood is where she meant “the edge” is. The hood? That’s the edge. The edge of the inside car seat? That’s what she meant. The bumpers? Yep, that’s an edge, sure nuff. The words given and the words omitted are always twistable and ambiguous. Almost like someone wants deniability built in.
I guess “edge,” could mean the tailgate of a pickup, if it was down.

Doctorate aside, this woman doesn’t appear to have a robust vocabulary, so there’s no telling what she was referring to.

Funny...I asked 3 people tonight (Who don't know this site or conversation exist) "what's the edge of a car?" they all responded....huh??? "What do you mean by edge...."
i just asked somebody too.

“Edge? Are we talking about a car or a cliff?” Lol

I think she’s purposely using a word most people don’t to describe part of a car. It’s like the entire statement was made to seem like she was giving important details, but instead was muddying the timeline.

I don’t think that word choice was an intentional effort to mislead. That being said, I believe that entire statement was designed for that purpose.

Look at any appeal ever made by a family member of a missing child. None of the statements (or that interview) come remotely close to being similar.

If she mentions him, the focus of her words is on her (how great she treated him). Gannon is an afterthought, mentioned third in the latest release. She takes swipes at her detractors, attacks Gannon’s mom, tries to explain away evidence, and paints herself as some sort of saintly mother.

At best, she’s an absolutely horrible human being. At worst, she’s an absolute monster.

I think know it’s the latter.

In all fairness. She did state in the 1/31 back to the camera interview, that she requested an attorney to "help her with some of the vocabulary" LE was using.
I'll bet some pretty big words were used when they interviewed her about an 11 year old boy and what happened to him.

Ha! These are cops, not some lawyers speaking to her in legal lingo. That was such a bizarre excuse.

LE: What did you do with Gannon?

SM: What does “do” mean? I want a lawyer, you’re confusing me.

"When they say runaway, does that mean dropping off petrified and injured in the middle of nowhere?"

Some people make me a lil sick.

Yep, she claimed not to understand some of the questions they were asking, but was capable of recognizing her "constitutional rights had been violated"

Ha! A few more weeks and she'll swear English is her second language like MT in the Fotis Dulos case!

"My words are not admissible, your honor; I couldn't possibly have answered that question honestly without my Spanish translator!"

He's a little boy. How did he sit on the edge of the car? If he cut his foot, did she place him on the hood? Did he open the door and sit on the seat? That doesn't flow like truth to me. Note she didn't say truck.
The most reasonable place to sit would be the front or back bumper, near the trunk of the car. So there may have been a reason she avoided saying where. Jmo

Thank you Amanda. You’re very consistent with your follow through. You’ve really stood out in several cases we’ve participated together. Particularly the Selena Not Afraid search. Unfortunately, it turned out tragically like so many cases we develop our interest in finding missing people. Strangely her body was found after searching the area several times before. Thank you and Oviedo for your dedication. I see a trial coming and both of y’alls hard work will be useful.

So they're working backwards? They maybe found an item while searching and are trying to verify that the item matches a scent in the home?
I’m impressed with the sophistication and methodology using our furry pets as investigative tools. Plus, we enjoy seeing man/woman’s best friend in action. I think you’re right. Their actions are indicative of an object found in their search.

I'm doubting SM has a bandage on her hand . I think it is the style of her hoodie , there is fashion styles that the cuff comes down over the hand with a thumb hole cut out out of cuff . My daughter had them in her teenage years and I recognise where cuff covers the hand .

I'm also impressed! And..I've fallen in Love with Jessie the Bloodhound :)

Couldn't help but laugh!
Spot on for SM

I know, right??

I'm a veteran of multiple seasons of "Cops"; and have several fresh episodes of "LivePD" under my belt to keep me sharp (my entertainment on the gym treadmill).

Patrol officers are very patient and basic in their questioning. I can figure out where they're going about 6 verbal moves ahead of the suspects. (Granted, most of the suspects are usually very high - and not on life - but even the compos mentis ones. I firmly believe those news stories where the patrol officer shows up to find out that someone wants the officer to retrieve their stolen drugs.)

This is a good time to stop and thank you for your Twitter on the spot updates. I’m sure others will agree to share our gratitude to our Twitter Queen for this thread. Thank you humble. Instead of having to bounce between tabs when awaiting important updates, I’m assured the updates will appear here so I can relax a minute before the news hits.

G'morning all (I'm in UK) Was hoping to wake up and see some kind of news/update!! Let's hope the weather conditions are kind for the searchers today:)
Maybe....Just maybe they HAVE found something relating to Gannon's dissapearance hence the concentrated search area?? I'm certain they would not let the public know that straight off!? Sending prayers n good vibes to ALL those still working hard to find Gannon and ofcourse Gannon's family.
This case has 'gotten' to me, more than usual as I know it has to many of us out there maybe cos Gannon's beautiful face reminds me of my own son when he was that age, maybe bedcause I just cannot inagine anyone wanting to 'hurt' a child they have helped to raise, this is beyond tragic :(
