It's 3:26 here, and also the kdvr news listing says 5:30pm, due to broadcasting a race (Daytona I think). So a couple more hours.

Thanks, @KathrynL !

For those not familiar with the Colorado news channels, here's the link for the news channel Nicole Fierro reports on:

FOX31 Live Stream

Here is the search area based on Spencer's video (sorry if this location has been posted).

Why this area?

What is interesting, is that the search area on the side of the road (yellow line) is on the west side of the north-south road, near a bend. This suggests what ever was put or thrown there was from a car traveling south on the road. It is also likely that a person would dispose of evidence after something bad happened...

If this holds true, the person putting evidence there had been farther north on the road.

Could Gannon be farther north up the road?

First time posting here.. and finally caught up for today. My question/concern is there must be a reason that are only searching in that spot? If they didn't have a solid lead, wouldnt they expand to other areas of the town? We would potentially be hearing of other search crews working other areas? Seems they are focused here for a reason....... I WISH they would find what they are looking for soon, this is driving me mad!!

Welcome. They must of had a tip or something for them to focus at that area. IMO

They are probably more worried about plowed snow burying their work area. At the least, I think they would push snow only to the opposite side of the road (not the normal plowing technique). But I could also see tents or tarps being used, much easier than removing and sifting more snow.

Dear @The Night Watchman,

Thank you!

That certainly makes sense !

I think she poisoned him or overdosed him with enough medication to kill him. I'm thinking that was why he had a hard time walking to the truck. I kind of think the poor boy died on the way to where TS was going to dump his body. If she buried him then she probably has a blister or blisters on her left hand where she tried to cover the bandage up with the shirt she was wearing. I'm a lefty and have had blisters on my left hand from rakes and shovels. I wonder if they're sifting for pills she could have used to poison Gannon.

I'm praying he's found alive and that someone has him but I don't think he is. She's dark and she's evil another Frazee. MOO

Someone has to have posted this at some point, but I missed it. It’s a former FBI agent’s take on why they are searching where they are.

"It's not just a random thing," said former agent Pete Klismet. "With some basis of knowledge from prior cases, somebody has told them something about the specific or general location up there where they may want to look and they may find something."

I can't imagine what this family is going through right now. I mean the LE keep saying we hope to find him alive and we believe he is alive and then you turn on the news and see they are searching with poles and shovels. Just absolutely horrifying. My heart goes out to them. (And I'm starting to get a little PO'd actually)

I went back and watched TS interview. Then reread her recent statement, my question is do any of you know of any time she said "I love this child", or "I love this boy like he's my own"? I know she likes to talk about her taking care of him, and how she rescued him and in the interview she says "We love you" twice, and in the statement even when she says "and to Gannon" I don't see a statement of love. I'm not on Facebook and Twitter so I have no clue if she has ever said anything regarding her [maternal or familial ] love for him individually?. NOT a we love you or your family loves you statement but a "Gannon I love you please come home" statement?? Has she said outright I love him or G I love you?

I still think they may be searching for something with metal or electronics, maybe the Nintendo Switch or something metal or possibly a burner phone.

In reality, I do not know.

However, I have faith in this investigative team and I believe I'll be astounded when they present the physical, forensic and electronic evidence they've amassed, at the trial.

They have searched many places (I think they started searching on something like day 4 when he went missing). SO many different places have been mentioned by the reporters following the search around.

This is day 6, though, of searching this stretch and now, the search seems very focused on the roadside. I wonder if someone's dashcam caught something. I hope so.

But they may have found some evidence in the area and now are hoping to find more.

That was my thought as well. While I do not believe that LS is of superior intellect, most people know that guns are usually registered and traceable through forensics... she'd have to be a complete moron to use a firearm belonging to AS or herself... but then again...
MOO
Don’t know if this has been covered yet, still catching up, but we don’t have registration in CO.

The only statement of love has come from Gannon’s biological parents. They are the epitome of what true grief looks like, especially his mother.

That’s genuine, and as raw and real as it gets.

SM however, that’s another story. Even (likely) in death, Gannon is mentioned only when it suits a purpose; only when it suits SM.

No emotion. No grief.

It’s not like we haven’t seen that before, but in my experience, I’ve never seen that behavior from someone who hasn’t done something horrible.

Yeah, she had several hours to work with, and could have covered a lot of ground in any direction.

For law enforcement to be focusing on a particular area 40 miles away from home, just has to be a sign of a solid lead. There’s no other logical reason for that behavior.

We’ve seen ground searches previously, but nothing remotely close to this. It’s like they are looking for something specific, and know it’s there.

If we factor in straight drive time to and from the search location from her house, that leaves about 2.5 hours for her to have done whatever terrible thing she did. Oh, and get in some shopping or whatever else she did that day.

Dear @10ofRods,

Brilliant! I hadn't thought of someone's dashcam! Now that is something!!
