I don't believe he ran away.

Even if his home life was a problem, he did have a relationship with his bio mom. He spent time with her. She had joint custody. He didn't need to run away! He could talk to his mom. He probably could have gone there. If he wanted to run away and get to her I could understand but, just running away to nothing makes no sense whatsoever. Gannon had options if he needed to run away or, WANTED to run away.

I do not believe the narrative that is being fed to us at this time. It is nonsensical.

My guess is that there is a ton of stuff going on behind the scenes. LE is actually pretty quiet. They are not tipping their hand but I think this is going to go down the way many of us anticipate.

Unfortunately, I don't foresee a happy ending.

I just can't believe the stepmom said his mom did not want him!

If she really believes he ran away how could she say such a thing? Knowing he could be listening or at least may eventually see that interview.

With all the emotions and all that the family is going through right now it was the most insensitive thing she could have said.

Imo

BBM:

Does anyone have a sense of what might lead LE to move the incident command location today?

Is this most likely driven by LE receiving electronic information re: cell phone pings, gps tracking, etc., or what?
I’m not sure, but I’m heartened by the fact they’ve got some credible/actionable leads. Apparently.

If my child disappeared, I would fear abduction, seemingly a parent's worst nightmare.

But a child is also in a very dangerous situation if, subjected to say excessive discipline (child abuse), threatens to run away and TELL.

Sadly some children go missing because adults, needing to hide their own bad behavior, panic.

In those cases, "I didn't do it" and "I didn't MEAN to do it" are too close for comfort.

The VW Jetta belongs to the 17 yr old daughter. The way I understood it according to the stepmother in the video, stepmom and daughter were clothes shopping at the store, LE approached and asked the daughter for her car keys assuming they were in daughters purse, stepmom said they weren’t in her purse that she had the car keys in her pants pocket, daughter left the store in handcuffs.

JMHO
Hmmm why were the daughter's car keys in her pocket, and not the daughter's purse????

What does this bit mean from most recent press release?
At approximately 2:00 PM, the decision was made to move Incident Command to the Sheriff's Office Training Facility, located across the street from the El Paso County Jail, located at 2743 E. Las Vegas Street, based on information gathered from the investigation.
I wondered the same thing when I read that.
Information gathered from the investigation led them to move the Command Center to a different location?

What information could that be? What could it have to do with moving it to another location?

I'm completely stumped by this.
If it was a thing her vehicle was postitvely ID'd in an area not local it's likely they would have moved on it before today, they had it from day of interview...

Anyone else curious why the neighbor was the one to call 911? I was just thinking about this, my neighbors wouldn’t know if my kids were gone too long unless I specifically asked them for help looking. Did dad or SM call the neighbor, or is possible the neighbor’s hinky meter was already being set off by other things not said? Strange noises, carrying ons, etc.

How long have they lived there?

Dad texted the neighbour, his friend, asking if they had seen Gannon.
The neighbour is a mom, and probably Dad thought her kids may have seen him?
