BBM:

I'm incredibly glad he took the time to do this, as LE has signaled it's given them the break they needed.

Having said that, let's all spare a thought for this poor guy.

He obviously saw something disturbing, which is bad enough.

What makes the bad infinitely worse, is that he then had to go show whatever these distressing images were to GS's dad, and witness his heartbroken reaction.

He will also likely have to testify at trial, if indeed there's a criminal trial.

As the old saying goes: "No good deed goes unpunished."

JMO.
This^^^^ is so true.

When @GordianKnot said on page 3 of the 2nd thread: “Is this woman so clouded by her animosity toward GS's bio mom that she transferred those feelings of animosity over to GS?”, the answer is yes.

The answer was yes for my son anyway. My son was raised by his dad & his SM. She hated me so much that she verbally, emotionally & mentally abused my son from the time he was 7 until after he graduated high school.

When my son was 11 until the present day he has had suicidal ideation. It was so bad (it was/is always bad & very very sad but it was even worse between the ages of 11-12) that he had to be hospitalized at a place for mentally unstable adolescents until all of the abuse was confronted by his Drs to his SM & they all had to sign a legal document & had to agree to do family counseling & to get my son his own private counseling. Although it didn’t really help. A little bit here & there his SM would change for a few weeks but she ALWAYS ended up reverting back to her abusive ways.

I don’t want to be one of those parents who only talks about how this has affected them but I do want to say that all of that had to take place the way that it did bc I didn’t have legal custody of my son. It was devastating for me as a parent to be absolutely helpless to & for my son.

I don’t want to get into how angry it makes me & how badly it hurts me bc I’m not trying to make this all about me. I just want to share that it is possible for a step parent to hate the bio parent so much that they would abuse a child.

My child is now in his 20s. He has Stockholm syndrome, is a drug addict & allows women to physically abuse him, emotionally & mentally as well. Among other things.
So although he didn’t physically die by her hands, he is for the most part dead on the inside.

I am so sorry for your situation. And I agree, unstable people who are not mentally healthy don't know how to separate their animosity from one entity to another. Not unlike a person who has a bad day at work, and kicks a dog. Bad analogy, but you understand.

I really didn't even want to read anything about Gannon, because when I heard about him, I already knew the outcome.

I totally get the severity of that situation. My husband was in a similar spot three years ago in which his profession/position required him to notify family members of a line of duty death. For lack of words, it was terrible. Ironically, Colorado Springs is where the IAFF hosts their annual line of duty death memorial. We were there for that in 2017, and I can attest first hand how attentive both law enforcement and first responders were.
Absolutely! But @GordianKnot said something up thread a couple post that I didn't even think about. This poor man had to see whatever it was on the video, tell GS dad and watch him break down, police, future witness, ect. S/he is so right. No good deed goes unpunished.
But, I bet that neighbor is still glad he went back through it, even thought it is going to make his life a little more stressful. At least, I hope, they will be able to get justice/bring Gannon home.[/QUOT

That doesn't look like anything, it's too blurry.

I’m always amazed when our sleuthers see stuff - I can’t see anything in that blurred image - I will say I thought water might be involved with this case - I can’t see a burial
JMO
It’s blurry because the station blurred it per LE’s request, IMO, but the neighbor saw a perfectly clear image:

“FOX31 obtained a copy of this evidence that came from a neighbor's surveillance camera. Authorities have asked us not to describe or show it yet because it’s a part of their investigation. To ensure we don’t compromise anything in the search for Stauch, we are honoring the sheriff’s office request.” (BBM)
El Paso County Sheriff’s Office gets new evidence in search for missing 11-year-old boy

Or I’m imagining things (which is entirely possible, too :D).

I’m so very very sorry for you & your son. Absolutely heart breaking:(

You could totally be right. :) I'm just trying to determine what that blurred photo could be because it looks like it's inside not a street view that you would expect from a neighbors nest or whatever cam. I'm not sure. Just asking if anyone else sees anything in that shot that might tell us anything.
It's street I think, red thing is car on street maybe,
grass looks messed up, long haired female maybe lower right???

Yes! And the press conference said they were not looking at sex offenders. And it said the community didn't need to be afraid...........

That's almost always a tip-off that the perpetrator is close to or known by the victim or victim's family. That is, if a crime has been committed... (Sometimes it can be a suicide -- but IMO, that definitely not what we have here.)

The only thing I can think is maybe the video showed maybe SM/SS leaving with GS, but not arriving back home with him in the car. Maybe they dumped his body (ugh that breaks my heart typing that) over by the on Las Vegas st. where the new command center was taken.

But then that gets me thinking if they saw him in the car, was he alive and well? Then why would they be taking so much evidence out being that he was probably killed somewhere else. Or does the camera how something lumped in the back seat. But then how does a ing camera pick up something in the back seat. Ugh I don't know

Edit: It appears the security camera was above the garage doors, not the front door like a Ring camera.
Could it show Gannon trying to leave the house and being drug back in?
