I think that everybody following the case will become very wounded.
I'm trying to think of a way those wounds could benefit Gannon, whatever dimension he is occupying. There might be some kind of a prayer or something that could make this work?
I like the way LE are handling it.
I like the way the dA is handling this.
They're not crippled because wounded.
The problem with the wounds of a broken child is compounded when everybody collapses under the weight of it all.
Sheriff's dept not caving in.
Not in the slightest.
We shouldn't either.

I feel we are doing it. All around the world people are praying and giving the right thoughts about this case. It has exposed so many raw things that go on in our world. Our awareness, our love and our prayers will change everything.

I took a break to spend time elsewhere.
The sense of urgency for me is gone, as I believe this will be announced eventually as a recovery effort to locate this boy.

Trying to catch up - so many posts! Anyway, I caught a rerun on tv last night of Chris Watts' interviews with LE along with commentary from an agent who worked on the case. Very interesting and I see why so many here are making comparisons.

A couple of things that struck me were how glibly he was able to lie and some great comments from LE. One agent said something like they wanted to make sure that once he was put in prison he'd never get out. I took that to mean that LE had to build a very strong case.

The other thing I noticed was the description of how they ran their investigation. I hope what they did is kind of a blueprint of how LE in Gannon's case are running their investigation. I enjoyed the comments from the agents and how they explained why they said/did things. There's too much to post here but it helped me to better understand why LE hasn't named any POIs or suspects yet. I do think it's coming though.

And this is why we're not supposed to post crap from social media...we don't know for sure that someone who is posting, is really who they say they are. On the off chance that it wasn't really her posting, what a mess. This thread is heading for a smack down, or a shut down.

We're seeing a nearly unprecedented use of SM in this case. For a case that's just two weeks old, the depth of concern and compassion from the local community is amazing. There are a *lot* of SM posts by friends and neighbors of Gannon's, saying what he was like, how often they saw him, and providing some details to each other about things they saw in the last 10 days.

We're watching a terrible tragedy unfold in real time. I hope that the friends and neighbors who are reaching out to Gannon's mother and father realize how important their caring is.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said they continued the investigation Sunday in the Lorson Ranch area and has received 339 tips to date.

Deputies re-canvassed Gannon’s neighborhood and spoke with neighbors in case they missed anything the first few times.

EPCSO said the size of the search group can vary at any point during the investigation. The investigation and the search processes will continue to run parallel with one another in hopes of finding Gannon and bringing him back home safely.

The LE presser made me worried as it seemed they were already thinking it's bad news.
How I wish Gannon was been hidden by someone and is alright.
But the first presser and then the follow up by the female LE spokesperson was not at all hopeful; imo.

His poor parents have to be heartbroken.
If there's been foul play hopefully the cold will preserve evidence.

Yeah, I don't understand that. Isn't the search considered part of the investigation?
Why do they keep pointing out there are two investigations?
Maybe the search is just a search and the parallel investigation is a criminal investigation? I really don't get it.

That's it.
There is an investigation, which includes a search but there is also a search and rescue type search which focuses only on searching and not the investigation.

To me, it's very telling that stepmom spends her time and energy badmouthing Gannon's mother. I can't imagine an innocent person doing something like that even if they felt they were being treated unfairly. The emotions she has expressed since the beginning of this nightmare are just petty and out of place.

Yeah, it's such a mess. I keep going back and forth in my mind thinking maybe he IS still alive since TS keeps insisting he is.

But where? And why has there been no sign of him after two weeks? And why wouldn't LE stress that they believe he is alive until they find evidence that proves otherwise like they do in other cases?
