Martinez was arrested on July 8 by Montezuma County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Daulton for a warrant out of Archuleta County. Daulton spotted the gold Dodge on Main Street in Cortez, and observed the vehicle make an unsignaled left turn into Safeway, 1580 E. Main St.

William Martinez, 69, was driving the vehicle and was given a verbal warning for the unsignaled turn. Charles Martinez was the passenger, and while being arrested told the deputy that the charges from Archuleta County were fake, and law enforcement was harassing him for no reason, according to Daulton’s report.

Hours after Snow's death, investigators found her son, 5-year-old Helliono Martinez, alive with an aunt in Cortez, according to CBI.

On July 16, the Department of Human Services obtained a court order granting the state of Colorado emergency custody of the boy. That same day, investigators learned Helliono was last seen with his father, Charles Martinez, 43, around 1:30 p.m. heading to their home on Highway 160 in Cortez. CBI issued an Endangered Missing Alert for Helliono two days later.

A court order on July 16 gave emergency custody of Martinez to the Colorado Department of Human Services. Officials learned the boy was last seen with his father that day, Charles Martinez. The pair was spotted in a Gold 2011 Dodge Ram, reportedly going to Charles Martinez's home in Cortez. The truck was later found, but the boy and Charles Martinez are still missing.

CBI previously said they believe Snow was killed in a "targeted" shooting and they have identified "persons of interest," but no arrests have been made.

If you see Helliono or Charles Martinez, the CBI urges that you do not approach them, and instead contact 911 immediately, or call MCSO at (970) 565-8452.
