Ok, I am not sure if this has been thrown out there yet. When the backpack was found did everyone just head out of the area where Jessica lived or did they keep searching houses around her neighborhood? Here is what I was just thinking, the person who took her has not had his or her house searched yet and knows that it will be searched, so to get the LE out of the area they take the backpack and plant it, then while LE is gone they get the body out and dump the body or take her to another location they may have before they dump her. JMO

I don't. The guy who found it probably would have called the police straight away if something of her was found in the backpack. He didn't. Instead he listed the find on the listserv until he was told Jessica was the missing girl from Westminster. He went through the booksack, IIRC.

I don't either. You're right & I agree. I said that based on the thought that dogs tracked to the backpack. Again, my fault for coming really late to this case. I didn't know about it being in the guys yard & him looking in it.

no, we do not know that any of her remains are missing or ever were missing. We also do not know that she was dismembered... only that her body was found 'not intact'

But I do think we do know she was dismembered. All the main media outlets have all said she was dismembered and LE has not corrected any of them. So all of the community is believing she was dismembered by the predator, imo and if that wasnt true since it sends such fear through the community I think LE would come out and correct it. JMO

In addition, that post does not specify that the bloodhounds LED or tracked anywhere, it simply says they "went" towards Superior elementary school, then back.

Could have been tracking could have been led in an attempt to let them get a scent if one existed.

So, dogs didnt lead detectives to the backpack. A man living by wear it was found is the one that discovered it. Thank you for searching this out.

I was watching the live broadcast for this at the time I posted. Towards the beginning ofthe video Torres references the bloodhounds going down S Indiana. Just before the 4:00 minute mark, they reference the bloodhounds going down to the school and back.

I don't know about changing clothes, but one reason to go into a place like a recreation center would be to use the bathroom to put on makeup. I can't see her changing into a sexy top but I can see her putting on eye makeup...

My personal opinion is that this was a false sighting, probably a memory from a different day. One reason I think this is because she was supposedly seen with the pillow pet, but the pillow pet was found still in her home. JMO

I agree with this. When we were being shown the scene from the helicopter live, it really only looked big enough to be a torso only. Unless legs were being covered by grass, all I saw was something the size of a torso.

I also agree that the remains were only partial remains purposely dumped. I think the perp probably had 2 or 3 other bags of remains that he dumped in other spots.

But, I do think animals also were involved as well and moved the remains to the fallen down tree area from the culvert. I think the perp(s) just stuffed the bag into the pipe and took off, hoping they would not be recovered for awhile. I think animals drug it out and moved it to the tree area to get away from the traffic and feed in peace. Animals like possums, skunks, racoons will typically find something like that the very evening it was deposited. They are incredible scavengers and would have found it within 1 night.

So, basically both is true IMO. The perp did try to make LE job harder and there are other dumping spots with other remains, but also animals moved the remains from the culvert pipe.

I dont think it matters much. The key is finding the other remains yet to be found.

I also think the BP was puposely placed there to try to lead LE away from where he dumped the remains. The perp(s) never thought the remains would be recovered so quickly, and the BP was an attempt to lead LE in wrong direction.

The other remains are probably in the same general direction of where the remains were found. Probably within 10 mile radius heading in same general direction. I hope LE does thorough searches for the other remains.

Also, it is interesting how a lot of us feel the perp is relatively young or at least mentally young. This helps LE a lot to know they type of person they are dealing with, as well as people calling in tips. That is a small subset of people when you think young or young minded, or even maybe some sort of mental issues.

Boy, LE needs to arrest this person. This is a very scary case with hm on the loose.
My thoughts + prayers are with the family and the entire community.
LE needs to capture this person before he strikes again.

I am 99% sure "on scene" was the CC. It must've been found b/c it was "here" and had to be confirmed as JR's by her family.
