where did you see the pillow pet was found in the home? I just read it was "here/on scene".

My personal opinion is that this was a false sighting, probably a memory from a different day. One reason I think this is because she was supposedly seen with the pillow pet, but the pillow pet was found still in her home. JMO

I believe the police SGT was at the CC.

It was never confirmed where the pillow pet was found, if it was even found. On scene could mean quite a few things since we don't know where the person who said that was at.

why would Jessica head NW to the West View rec ctr instead of going to Chelsea Park to meet her friend?

I believe this is where the pajamas and red tank top were also found along with the pillow pet - ( I'm extrapolating here ) or in the field.


( btw - I think her friend waited for her at the park, either with his dad or on his own, then when she didn't show, he called his dad who came to drive him OR his dad was there waiting with him in the park and drove him to school. Did Jessica no-show frequently? Did they figure she was off doing whatever she usually did at the rec ctr when she didn't show, so they didn't follow up?)

I believe you're jumping to some conclusions that haven't been established.
The clothing you're talking about wasn't attributed to having anything to do with Jessica.
The pillow pet was found at that park and her mother confirmed that she had one but it was not confirmed that they were in fact the same pillow pet. As a matter of fact, I believe her mother confirmed that Jessica's pillow pet was still at home.
The whole scanner thread is still available in the basement.
I don't believe anyone thought Jessica went to the rec center.

There is local RTD bus service into Denver for sure. Not sure about inot Boulder. I don't know where the local RTD bus stop would be, but could probably google it or look at the RTD Denver site.

But I do think we do know she was dismembered. All the main media outlets have all said she was dismembered and LE has not corrected any of them. So all of the community is believing she was dismembered by the predator, imo and if that wasnt true since it sends such fear through the community I think LE would come out and correct it. JMO

It would be more likely the Sgt was at the home (Jessica's home) and the reports were coming from the field.

Could be that when Jessica failed to show up, the father did not want HIS child walking the mile to school alone...

Or, the father could have intended to give his son a ride all along, but waited for Jessica to drive her as well, but she never showed.

My impression is that it was the latter.

Also, if you look at maps of the area, it's unlikely that Jessica and her friend were walking a whole mile to school. They would if they had to stick to the streets but as pedestrians they could cut across the open area behind (I think it is behind) the school and cut off most of the distance. Looking at it from overhead and street views, I couldn't see any reason for them not to cut across that open area.

They didn't really have that far to walk.

OHHHHHHH- the command post was originally at West View Rec Ctr. that sheds light on the police scanner transcripts from the afternoon of the 5th. that's where they found the unicorn pillow pet then (someone allegedly saw her walking with it and then it was found there (?), confirmed by the family it was hers, and then it was assumed by LE that she had to have gone up there(?)). so she went NW instead of E and S to Chelsea park? WHY????

there are LOTS of trails right there by West View Rec Ctr. I think that's majorly important.

do you have a link to this from the media? why would she take her pillow pet to school? you would think the mom would have mentioned it during the interview? Maybe not?

I also agree that the remains were only partial remains purposely dumped. I think the perp probably had 2 or 3 other bags of remains that he dumped in other spots.

But, I do think animals also were involved as well and moved the remains to the fallen down tree area from the culvert. I think the perp(s) just stuffed the bag into the pipe and took off, hoping they would not be recovered for awhile. I think animals drug it out and moved it to the tree area to get away from the traffic and feed in peace. Animals like possums, skunks, racoons will typically find something like that the very evening it was deposited. They are incredible scavengers and would have found it within 1 night.

So, basically both is true IMO. The perp did try to make LE job harder and there are other dumping spots with other remains, but also animals moved the remains from the culvert pipe.

I dont think it matters much. The key is finding the other remains yet to be found.

I also think the BP was puposely placed there to try to lead LE away from where he dumped the remains. The perp(s) never thought the remains would be recovered so quickly, and the BP was an attempt to lead LE in wrong direction.

The other remains are probably in the same general direction of where the remains were found. Probably within 10 mile radius heading in same general direction. I hope LE does thorough searches for the other remains.

Also, it is interesting how a lot of us feel the perp is relatively young or at least mentally young. This helps LE a lot to know they type of person they are dealing with, as well as people calling in tips. That is a small subset of people when you think young or young minded, or even maybe some sort of mental issues.

Boy, LE needs to arrest this person. This is a very scary case with hm on the loose.
My thoughts + prayers are with the family and the entire community.
LE needs to capture this person before he strikes again.

Has this been mentioned? I noticed it yesterday and keep thinking about it.
One of Jessica's pictures shows her wearing a t-shirt with the words '2012 Standley Lake Pee Wee Cheerleaders'. Did she cheer for the youth football team over the summer? Could that be an avenue that LE should explore to outrule perps? I hate to say it because of all the good guys, but that's where a pedophile might hide out. Also an adult could become aware of the mother's schedule if Jessica had to ride with a friend or something.
