I thought it looked like bare feet sticking out from the end of the sheet?

The video of the body (sheet covered) being removed from the site immediately told me we are either dealing with partial remains or a petite child. :(

That coupled with them not saying adult, male, female is part of why I strongly believe these remains belong to Jessica. Only time and LE can tell if I am right though.

Okay, this sounds like there's still a lot of hinkiness going on. BBM

DuBois said several law enforcement agencies, including the Dexter, Maine Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Westminster, Colo., Police Department will investigate the impounded vehicle at the Portsmouth Police station garage for potential evidence.

"So now we have the vehicle, but we don't have the people" who were reported inside of it in Maine, DuBois said.

In the middle photo, I can see a fence post. I can't tell if they are actively moving the body in the photo, or if it's in the place of discovery. Can someone answer this for me? Trying to figure out if the perp, just stopped on the side of the road and threw the body over the fence?

Sorry to be so graphic, just trying to get caught up.

Looks to me like they're moving the body on a stretcher or a board (what are those boards called that they carry bodies on?).

But that's just my guess from what I can see.

This is a still image taken from the video of them removing the body from the place of discovery. It was not in that spot when found but a slight distance away.

The body/remains appear to have been placed on a back board (I think its called)

I think what you are seeing is a part of the actual stretcher. If you look closely, the body is wrapped up and secured quite well. There is no way they would remove a body like that with feet hanging out. Not with helicopters overhead, etc...these are pros and covered the body for purposes of preserving evidence and dignity as well.

I may have missed the discussion last night, but does anybody know where the dad went last night when he was shown leaving the house? He was happy and laughing, seemed to be leaving with guys he knew rather than officers.

ETA: Maybe people he is staying with?

However, multiple sources claimed the FBI and police from Jessica's hometown of Westminster were treating the grim development on Wednesday night as though they had found the missing girl.

again with the multiple sources. I wonder how long they will wait before confirming or denying absolutely that this is Jessica?

Thank you TL.

I think it is a fence. A lot of open space is fenced off like that.

Under the picture is does say they are carrying the body, but before I read that it looks like the guy in the front is walking.

Someone posted it a few pages back... Still speculation, I think.

Okay, I know the post you are referring to. I thought maybe Cubby had seen something we hadn't and I was hoping for a link to that article.

Yes, there sure has been a lot of speculation about poor little Jessica's possible remains.

WESTMINSTER, Colo. — If you’re waiting on pins and needles for police to release information on the body they’ve found in Arvada or word on its potential relation to the search for missing 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway, now might be a good time to stop.
That’s what FOX31 senior investigative reporter Josh Bernstein is saying Thursday morning.

Coming to Denver after an Emmy-award-winning tenure heading the investigative unit at “They Daily” in New York City, Bernstein expects the discovery of a body at the Pattridge Park open space area in Arvada to slow down the information flow in what has already been a very guarded investigation.

“I don’t think we’ll hear much from police in the next two days,” Bernstein said. “If in fact they have found Jessica’s body, we’re not going to hear a whole lot for a while.”

Portsmouth Police Chief Stephen DuBois said the department received a tip from Dexter, Maine, Police a few days ago that the vehicle sought by federal authorities was seen by a witness at a convenience store and one of the occupants was a young girl.

BBM..
Sure seems like they believe this vehicle is related in some way or why else would the FBI seek it out? They've received hundreds of tips and don't track down every car or truck. I wonder if they have poi and this car is related to him somehow? IMO
