There are pictures of Kara on the web being associated with escort sites. Some appeared prior to her missing and others after she went missing. The brunette pictured is also shown on different escort ads but the other pictures in the profile are not her.

After reading about escort sites, and learning (and seeing) stuff I never wanted to know, it seems quite common for these sites to steal pictures and use them. Apparently it's called a bait and switch; you arrange for the girl in the picture to show up but a different girl comes and you still have to pay her a cancellation fee if you don't want her services.

I would be interested to know who the photographer was for the pictures being used...

Someone had access to Kara's pictures after she went missing? Or is it your thought whomever put them up, had them prior?

Is there an international trafficking aspect to Kara's case? Just wondering if she were being held against her will; her case has gotten a fair amount of attention. Would the people who have her risk someone seeing her and calling LE?

That makes sense that it would be easier for the brunettes to let Kara get her purse before leaving... Unless there was a third person who drove up in a car or van and they all took off from there?

I agree that it would make sense they would let her grab her bag and go with them willingly. I mean she was already planning on going with them willingly. Maybe she had another purse her roommate is unaware of and she grabbed that one?

It is the same set of pictures being used both before and after her disappearance. Whether or not it is the same person using the pics, I do not know but hopefully LE follows up on the tips and finds out.

I don't think it is international trafficking; it seems as if Colorado has it's own share of human trafficking. There are many programs in Colorado to try to prevent human trafficking and to help the survivors.

I think the point of this case is, LE does not believe Kara "made her own free choice".

that chatter did not say anything attacking the missing girl, the chatter is allowed to have an opinion. the fact is nothing has been released evidence wise that she is a victim, she could have gone somewhere of her own will

If this is a trafficking situation, I wonder if the person of interest was once a trafficking victim also, perhaps from a different part of the country. If so, maybe her identity can be ascertained by comparing these photos with photos on the missing sites. I certainly hope Kara is found soon.

Also Colorado seems to have a real problem with sextrade and missing girls. So many missing girls. Then the one last year who was dismembered alive to send a message to the other girls.

Gosh Kara's dad and the detective are speaking of her in the past tense....so sad.

This really stood out for me. I supposed it could mean nothing. But why speak of her in the past tense so soon?

I wonder if this brunette was actually in disguise when she was hanging out with Kara. The tattoo could be fake, the hair a wig, etc. That could be why she is hard to identify now. If she does in fact have something to do with Kara going missing, I would think she would wear some sort of disguise. She sure looks a lot older than Kara. Poor baby.

I also tried the reverse search for the images of the brunette and had no luck. I’m wondering how this person was identified to begin with?
Could LE have found something on Kara’s computer that linked to the pictures, then showed her roommate who confirmed/assumed it was the same person she left with? It just seems strange to have obtained an actual picture with no name.

If there’s any truth to it, maybe the brunette’s pictures WERE stolen and are being used on other sites to lure people in.

And what about the reports that we heard earlier, stating Kara went to a rave and her friends saw her leave with men she didn’t know? Even if it wasn't your typical rave, could she have gone up there with the brunette to a party/club, being mislead into thinking she would be meeting potential "contacts" for work?

Could her friends/roommates be in on a cover-up of some sort?

Reading this and other portions of LE statements, seems that LE does not consider her to be voluntarily missing. If she'd willingly chosen to move/leave long term, it seems unreasonable that she took nothing from her house to do so, IMO.

On one of the escort sites, if you search under all listings of the phone number, it shows results for a lot of ads but only the same pictures of four girls, one being the brunette woman who is a POI. Her full image (and other images) of her are there and you can Google Image and find lots of ads on different websites for her so.

I suppose the pictures could just be stolen pictures of the girls, but each of the pictures has similiarites: Taken in the same room, same neon pink bedsheet, same poster in some of the backgrounds. If the pictures were stolen, they were all stolen from the same source but IDK, obviously LE think there is a link between these girls more than just having their images stolen for the same ad.

This is probably the weirdest post I've yet to post here but here goes it. If any of you are even semi familiar with the sex industry, a lot of women who are prostitutes/escorts also tend to be on cam sites. I know all about these sites because an ex friend of mine was an escort and also did *advertiser censored* cam shows when she was not with her johns/clients. It is a way for women to get their name out there and make it big in the *advertiser censored* industry or even just simply a way to make ends meet financially. Some cam sites are independently owned, some are not. Thing is, these type of things usually go hand in hand. Basically, a woman is exposing herself on cam virtually and gets paid by men who want to view her cam. I am not saying Kara is on one of these sites, but the woman who is a POI could definitely be considering she is involved in the sex industry. I know of a couple bigger named cam sites which I will browse through to see if I can find a woman who resembles the woman who is a POI. It's a long shot but it's worth a look.

You guys are doing some great sleuthing. That kind of outside-the-box thinking is probably what will help to find this person of interest. She looks rather young to me...certainly no more than early to mid-20's. I wish there were a way to circulate her picture on popular social media sites. Perhaps then someone she went to high school with or someone from her home town would recognize her.

IMHO i really don't think the two pictures of the brunette being called a POI are of one person. I have looked at the two over and over again, and imo they are two different woman. I don't think the tatoo featured on one of the brunettes pics is real either. I think it has been painted to distract from already covered tatoos that seem to cover the length of BOTH arms.

Yes, i too have found them. It seems to be the pic of the brunette holding the phone that is the preferred pic when advertising both girls. I have not come across an advertisment that solely features the brunette pic with the tatoo...only the compilation of 4 four pics (which i believe are compiled of different women).
