I keep trying to upload pictures from the Zillow listing, but getting an error that they are too large. The loft wall also looks like it could be the size of what they are carrying out.

Also her fire place definitely looks like a gas insert, though there are fireplace tools next to it (assuming for decor)

Two reasons that come to mind : 1) Just not enough evidence/building their case (referring to the FBI, outside LE , etc., not local LE) ?
2) PF has relatives in LE -- maybe he called for them to 'do him a solid' ? No proof, just speculating b/c I'm of the opinion PF had help, if there was foul play.
PF's relatives would most likely back him . And yes, blood is thicker than water.

I don't think it's fair at all to speculate his relatives are involved.

As soon as they arrest him, the clock starts ticking. Most defendants waive their right to a speedy trial, but no DA is going to let an arrest happen until they know they have a solid case against the perpetrator.

I think there is might be another heating system. Mortgage companies (that bundle/sell in the secondary markets) typically require the whole house (each room) have heat source in cold climates. IDK though. Could be blowers or air circulators coming from the fireplace I guess.

If he had any marks on him, it’s likely that no one will ever know.

He could also explain it away, given his line of work.

Where would the furnace be? Aren't they usually in the basement?
